Where to get a token

dev.hh.ru → My applications → create an application.
Copy the access token.
HH_APP_NAME must be filled in: hh rejects requests without a clear User-Agent, and this is the first cause of unclear 400 errors.

What to ask the server

hh_search_methods("отклики на вакансию") — search for a method by words.
hh_describe_method(...) — parameters, pagination, access class.
hh_call_method(...) — call. Write and irreversible actions require confirmation, reads go through immediately.

Typical tasks

Export your vacancies and responses for a period, compile them into a table.
Find competitors' vacancies by region and profession.
Look at salary statistics for a role before publishing.
Reply to candidates with a template, after first showing the list to a human.

Do not publish or change vacancies without an explicit "yes" from a human: this is money and the employer's reputation.
