Draft concise, audience-appropriate summaries from an investigation memorandum. The HR summary does not include confidential analysis or legal risk exposure assessment. The management summary is a high-level overview. The outside counsel briefing includes full context.
Instructions
- Load the investigation memorandum and run the audience summary mode.
- If there is no memorandum yet, propose drafting the memorandum first.
- Rules for each audience version:
| Audience | Include | Exclude |
|---|---|---|
| HR | Factual findings, handling recommendations | Legal analysis, opinions on review of the three attributes of evidence, legal risk assessment |
| Management | Conclusory summary, key facts, recommended options | Detailed evidence analysis, investigation methods, internal legal opinions |
| Outside counsel | Complete factual background, existing evidence, gap list, questions requiring external opinions | Exclude only content that intersects with other cases (unless cross-reference authorization exists) |
- The HR summary must not include: lawyers' subjective analytical opinions, evidence credibility assessment methodology, legal risk exposure analysis.
Confidentiality Notice
Summaries sent externally (HR, management) should have the "Attorney Work Product" header removed, but retain the basic confidentiality legend. Briefings to outside counsel that include lawyers' analytical opinions should be marked confidential and expressly state that they are protected under Article 38 of the Lawyers Law.[法条原文]
