When AI first came out, I had an idea: is there an AI application that could take care of everything in my life?
Several years passed, and I never found one that met this requirement. The AI applications that are relatively mature now are basically chat conversations, work and office tasks, coding, image generation, and video generation. I haven't found one that truly goes deep into daily life.
Actually, saying there aren't any isn't quite right either. During this year's Spring Festival, Qwen ordering milk tea became popular for a while.
Just a couple of days ago, I discoveredQwenlaunched the AI Agent Plaza, with built-in agents for various services. I took a look, and it really almost covers everything in my life: sending couriers, scheduling cleaning... everything.
I've already done a round of hands-on testing, and today I'll show you the results.
01. When AI Starts Providing Services
Qwen has built-in agents of various types, such as Beike Zhaofang, SF Express, Fliggy Travel, Swan Daojia Ebao, Amap, Shansong, Ziroom Rental, and more, basically covering every aspect of life.
Normally, when we need to send a courier, we have to go into the courier app ourselves, place an order, manually enter the address, fill in the item category, schedule a time... Now this kind of small but error-intolerant task can be completely handed over to AI.
Open the Qwen APP, tap the upper right corner, and find the corresponding AI agent. For example, to send a courier, you can choose SF Express, or you can type @ in the chat box we normally use to chat with Qwen and invoke the agent with @.
Using AI to Send Couriers, Even Elderly People Can Figure It Out
We send Qwen all at once the names, phone numbers, detailed addresses of both sender and recipient, and the item type:
Prompt: Help me schedule a door-to-door pickup courier. Pickup address: XX Unit XX, XX Community, XX District, Wuhan City. Sender: Sister K, phone number: 1XXXXXXXXXX, item to send: aroma tablets; send to: XX, XX City, XX Province, recipient: X; phone number: 1XXXXXXXXXX
Qwen instantly understood the context information and reminded me that the system requires a real name when placing an order. After I supplemented it, Qwen accurately identified the sender and recipient information and seamlessly invoked SF's official service in the background, automatically filled in all fields for me, and directly generated the pickup order. No need to leave the chat box, smooth ordering. After that, just wait for the courier to come for pickup.
A very convenient thing is that, later courier progress checks can all be asked directly to Qwen: Where is it? Has it arrived?
No need to spend ages looking for the courier tracking number and then go to various mini-programs to check.
Usually when my parents send couriers, they find online ordering too complicated, and every time they have to go to an offline station several hundred meters away.
Now I teach them to directly usevoice commandsin Qwen, so Qwen can automatically compare prices, and we only need to choose the suitable courier and let AI place the order.
The key thing is the price... for the same pickup and delivery cities, it's only five or six yuan in Qwen, which is even more cost-effective than going to an offline station.
If you accidentally enter the wrong information, you can directly use voice to have AI modify or cancel it.
For elders, not having to operate a complicated App interface and being able to directly speak to command AI to do the work is the kind of AI that truly helps.
Using AI to Book Cleaning
On weekends, if I want to do a big cleanup at home, in the past I had to open a housekeeping App, choose the service type, choose the duration, fill in the address and notes...
This time we found the Swan Home E-bao agent in Qwen and sent a request:
Prompt: Help me book a 2h routine cleaning at 3 PM, with focus on cleaning the range hood and kitchen hygiene. Address: XXX community.
Ordering and payment were completed in one go right in the chat window, and a cleaning lady was matched.
Not long after placing the order, the cleaning lady's confirmation call came in, and she arrived on time at 3 PM with a full set of tools.
The cleaning lady's service attitude was excellent. She wiped the range hood until it was shiny, and even cleaned the floor and walls that I hadn't mentioned, leaving them spotless. After finishing, she insisted that I inspect and confirm I was satisfied before she would leave.
I have to say, it was really great.
Things like calling for housekeeping aren't frequent enough to be needed every day. When you remember you need it, you look for a mini program and download an app, go through a whole round, and the next time you need it again, you've forgotten where you ordered it last time, which cleaning lady you called, and how to call back the same one.
In the Qwen agent's chat window, things like the request and last time's information are all managed. The next time you place an order, just go back to the chat window.
Other life matters
I also used it to test several high-frequency daily scenarios, and its performance was equally smooth:
This weekend I plan to drive from Wuhan to Chengdu for fun. Normally, I'd have to manually check the weather city by city. Let's see how Qwen does:
Prompt: I want to drive from Wuhan to Chengdu for fun this weekend. Help me check the weather along the way.
The Caiyun Weather agent accurately understood the concept of cities along the self-driving route and helped me check the weekend weather in Chengdu, Wuhan, Yichang, Enshi, Chongqing, and other places. Very intelligent.
It also included detailed weather for the cities on the day of travel and travel suggestions.
If you don't know where to go for fun, you can also just ask Qwen.
We opened the Amap agent in Qwen:
Prompt: Located in Chengdu, where is suitable to go for fun on the weekend?
Qwen helped us recommend places suitable for visiting that weren't too far.
We can select the attractions we want to visit and continue to let Qwen plan the route.
Prompt: Help me plan a trip. The requirements are: I want to go to Chengdu Wuhou Shrine, Jinli, Kuanzhai Alley, Dujiangyan, Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong, and the Panda Base. Starting from Shuangliu Airport, help me plan a route that doesn't backtrack.
Qwen gave a very detailed travel route, including all the places I mentioned, and also reminded me which scenic areas require advance ticket purchase, plus information such as not doing strenuous exercise in high-altitude areas and paying attention to glucose supplementation.
Let's take a look at the itinerary together:
The content was very rich and the consideration was quite detailed. Where to go, how to get there, how long to stay, and what to prepare in advance were all organized, and image information was also included.
When going out to have fun, you no longer have to pester your Type J friends for travel guides.
A friend recently wanted to rent a place near Optics Valley in Wuhan. Actually, you can totally try it with Qwen's agent.
Normally when looking for a place, we first have to set the location, then choose filter conditions one by one. With Qwen's Ziroom rental agent, you only need to state your needs plainly:
Prompt: I want to rent a single room near Wuhan Optics Valley World. Requirements: with a bathroom, civilian water and electricity, within a 10-minute walk to Wuhan Optics Valley World, budget 1500. Help me recommend some.
Qwen can directly help us complete multi-dimensional filtering, and in less than a minute it recommended a bunch of listings with high match rates.
When searching and filtering by yourself, after searching five listings you forget what the first one was like.
I don't like chatting back and forth online with agents. They always fail to recommend what I want, so it would be better for AI to help us filter first.
02. Some Sharing
Over the past few years, I've tried quite a few AI applications. They can chat and write, and also write code and make images and videos. But when it comes to trivial matters like ordering takeout, booking hotels, buying things, and sending packages, I still have to open each app one by one and operate them manually.
Now with Qwen, I can order takeout, buy things, book flights and hotels, check routes... For many tasks, I just have to say what I want to do, and Qwen will keep asking about the time, address, and budget, and then finish the remaining steps.
In the past, I needed to switch between apps back and forth. Now, most of it can be handled in a single chat box.
Of course, when it involves addresses, times, and payment amounts, I suggest everyone verify them manually. If you encounter complex after-sales demands, human customer service is still needed for now.
But this made me realize a bigger change: in the past, having someone help us manage these trivial matters in life, booking tickets, calling cars, comparing prices, sending packages, was a privilege only a few people had. We had to hire an assistant, get a butler, or have a rich enough friend.
Today, AI has turned this into a basic capability that everyone can enjoy.
We don't need to understand technology, and we don't need resources. As long as we can talk, there is a "person" to run errands for us, keep records for us, and arrange things for us.
This is the biggest dividend for ordinary people in the AI era.
It not only helps us work, but also lets us have a "life assistant" that only a few people had in the past.
Back then, people said "AI changes life." The real change is not in the laboratory. It is that these little odds and ends finally have someone to take them over.
