On May 20, 2024, the Stockholm, Sweden-based AI-driven software testing startupQA.techannounced it has raised €3 million in seed funding. The round was led by UK venture capital firm PROfounders, with participation from Amsterdam-based Curiosity and Nordic-based byFounders, as well as angel investors including Mads Johnsen, Jon Åslund, Robert Lagerström, Sven Perkmann, and Jens Saltin.
The company plans to use the raised funds to continue product development and expand its existing 11-person team.
QA.tech was founded in 2023 by experienced entrepreneurs Daniel Mauno Pettersson, Patrick Lef, Marcus Carloni, and Vilhelm von Ehrenheim. The company focuses on developing testing tools for AI-based applications and SaaS services. QA.tech's platform automates quality assurance (QA) testing that traditionally requires extensive manual effort, such as testing website features like login, account creation, and shopping cart functionality. QA.tech's solution targets companies that want to streamline their QA processes or have no QA testers at all. Currently, nearly 40 customers are using QA.tech's beta version, and a public release is expected after the summer.
