On April 2, 2024, the New York-based data intelligence software company Proxima AI announced the completion of a $12 million Series A funding round. The round was led by Mucker Capital, with participation from Aglae Ventures (the family office of the founder of LVMH), Great Oaks Venture Partners, Data Point Capital, Broadway Venture Partners, FirstLook Partners, and Connexa Capital.
The company plans to use the raised funds to develop its technology platform, including AI-driven feature development, and to further expand its technical and commercial functions.
Founded in 2022 by founder and CEO Alex Song, Proxima is a data intelligence solution that safely leverages AI and a proprietary database containing more than 65 million (and growing) unique shopper personas to help consumer technology businesses achieve greater scale, efficiency, and financial success across their acquisition, retention, and full customer lifecycle marketing.
