On May 16, 2024, the Ireland-based AI financial automation platform startupNumraannounced it has raised €1.5 million in seed funding. The round was led by Elkstone Partners.
The company plans to use the raised funds to expand its product and engineering teams, and is considering expansion into the U.S. market to grow its business.
Numra was co-founded by David Kearney and Conor Digan in 2023. The company mainly provides an AI-based financial automation platform that uses AI technology to simplify complex workflows for finance and accounting teams, including tasks such as data entry, reconciliation, and error investigation, aiming to help companies save time and reduce errors. Numra was previously known as Autonifai, and its AI assistant is designed to increase team productivity by up to 50% by allowing teams to manage collections, three-way matching, payments, invoices, reconciliation, and cost allocation. Users can interact with the tool through platforms such as email, Microsoft Teams, and Slack.
