The AI training cloud platform and infrastructure startup headquartered in San Francisco, California, USA, Lumino announced that it has raised $2.8 million in Pre-seed funding. Investors include Longhash Ventures, Inception Ventures, Protocol Labs, TRGC, L2IV, Zero Knowledge Ventures, Fenbushi Capital, Quaker Capital Investments, OrangeDAO, and Escape Velocity.
The company plans to use the raised funds to expand operations and development efforts.
Founded by Eshan Chordia and Yogesh Darji in July 2023, Lumino is building an integrated hardware and software computing protocol for AI workloads that uses economic incentives to pool computing resources together, utilizes blockchain to ensure models are trained correctly, and provides developers with an SDK to get started immediately. Customers can use the Lumino SDK to start training their AI models in minutes.
