What is Kanana
Kanana is a generative AI assistant launched by Kakao, South Korea's instant messaging giant, positioned as the user's "AI companion." It can remember key information in conversations and provide intelligent responses based on context. Kanana is divided into two parts: Kana serves as a group chat AI assistant, and Nana serves as a personal AI companion. Nana can remember the content of personal and group conversations, help remember meeting schedules and reminders, and summarize key points of group chats; Kana is responsible for solving practical problems in group chats, such as publishing quizzes, providing scores and answers, or suggesting date plans in couple conversations. Kanana plans to launch a car mode, supporting voice interaction with AI while driving.
