The Rijswijk, Netherlands-based provider of ultra-low-power neuromorphic processors Innatera announced it has raised €15M in Series A funding, with investors including Invest-NL Deep Tech Fund, EIC Fund, MIG Capital, Matterwave Ventures, and Delft Enterprises.
The company plans to use the funds to accelerate mass production, expand its application product range, and increase customer engagement.
Led by CEO Sumeet Kumar, Innatera uses a proprietary analog mixed-signal computing architecture to provide microprocessors that mimic brain processing mechanisms. The company recently launched the spiking neural network processor T1, achieving signal processing and pattern recognition within the sub-milliwatt power range.
