On April 22, 2024, the Miami-based renewable energy startup focused on AI data centers, Exowatt , announced it has raised $20 million in seed funding, with investors including a16z, Atomic, and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.
Exowatt plans to use the raised funds to expand its team and deploy its flagship product, the modular energy platform Exowatt P3, and begin working with its first data center customers.
Exowatt is a next-generation renewable energy company founded in 2023, co-founded by Hannan Parvizian and Atomic CEO Jack Abraham. The company's main business is providing customized modular energy solutions for commercial and industrial customers, especially for energy-intensive applications such as AI data centers, delivering extremely low-cost energy to enhance global AI infrastructure capabilities.
