What is EvolveDirector
EvolveDirector is an innovative framework jointly launched by Alibaba and Nanyang Technological University, which uses public resources and API interfaces of advanced models to train a high-performance text-to-image generation model. The framework is based on API interactions with existing advanced models to obtain data pairs, trains a base model, and with the help of pretrained large vision-language models (VLMs) dynamically optimizes the training dataset, significantly reducing the required amount of data and training cost. EvolveDirector can select the best samples generated by multiple advanced models for learning, allowing the final trained model Edgen to surpass existing advanced models in multiple aspects.
