On April 18, 2024, San Francisco-based software sales automation startup Clazar announced it has raised $10 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Ridge Ventures and Ensemble VC, with participation from DST Global partner Saurabh Gupta, along with existing investors The General Partnership and Twin Ventures.
The company plans to use the raised funds for research and development and product innovation to build and expand its product portfolio and meet the needs of its rapidly growing customer base.
Clazar was founded in 2023 by Trunal and Aayush, and its main business is providing software companies with automated solutions for software sales through cloud marketplaces. Clazar's platform is designed to help independent software vendors (ISVs) simplify the sales process through cloud marketplaces such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, accelerate revenue growth, and reduce the engineering and operational resources required.
