The artificial intelligence company headquartered in Palo Alto, California, USA, Buzz Solutions announced it has raised a new round of $5 million in funding; the company uses AI technology to inspect and protect critical energy/grid infrastructure. This funding round was led by GoPoint Ventures, with participation from Blackhorn Ventures and Mac Venture Capital.
The funds raised will be used to expand its PowerAI inspection solution and PowerGUARD condition monitoring solution to new regions and critical power infrastructure sectors.
Buzz Solutions was founded in 2017 by Kaitlyn Albertoli and Vikhyat Chaudhry, and uses an AI-driven predictive analytics platform to visually inspect infrastructure and protect energy/power infrastructure. The platform enables field teams to prioritize and perform maintenance in a timely manner, reducing the likelihood of wildfires, forced shutdowns, and power outages caused by grid infrastructure failures.
