These past couple of days, I've been flooded by OpenAI's GPT-Image-2 jaw-dropping image-generation moves; Xiaohongshu is already full of screenshots of Musk doing Douyin livestream sales; joint posters for all kinds of IPs… and so on.
And I've been hit head-on by the heatwave from Anthropic's Claude Design . It has brought about major changes to the production methods of the design industry.
With such powerful capabilities, don't you really want to try it, really want to use it?
Sister Orange tells us that wanting to use it comes with barriers. Claude Design requires a Claude Pro subscription; to get access to GPT's new capabilities through gradual rollout, you need at least a Plus subscription.
But when subscribing to overseas product plans, the payment step is very unfriendly domestically. Without an overseas credit card, domestic payment methods cannot be used to subscribe directly.
So today, Sister Orange is here to share how to quickly subscribe to overseas product plans from within China.
The most highly recommended solution
Top up through a third-party platform.
The principle is that after placing an order, the platform uses its payment channels to complete the subscription for you, and then authorizes membership benefits in the form of a redemption code or by binding your account. But platforms vary greatly from one to another.
From what I've tried, the relatively most stable and most worry-free website, which I've repurchased from twice, VipCleap is what I'm sharing with everyone.

After pasting, [Start Verification】
After the Token verification passes,[Top Up Now]
Wait about 1-3 minutes, and it will prompt success.
Return to the ChatGPT official website and refresh to check your subscription plan. In a while, it will be the Plus version.
02 Buy Claude Pro
Step 1, on the homepage, select the Claude Pro service and clickBuy Now
It will automatically jump to the shopping cart for checkout. ClickCheckout Now
Choose a payment method. Alipay/WeChat can be used; just scan the QR code to pay.
Step 2, after completion, return to VipCheap My Orders, [View Card Key】
First [Copy Card Key], then [Redeem Now】
Paste the card key, [Verify and Continue], and once it shows as verified, you're good.
Next isEnter your Claude user ID. Open the Claude official website, select Settings in the personal center, click the Account page, and you can see the ID and copy it directly.
Return to the VipCheap verification page, paste your Claude ID, and after verifying the format is correct, click [Confirm and Upgrade]。
Continue by clicking the button below [Activate Pro Membership Now】
Wait about 3 minutes, and the top-up will be successful.
Then go to the Claude official website again, wait a while and refresh, and you will see the membership upgrade was successful.
Important Notes
⚠️ Risk of account suspension: The Claude platform itself is quite strict about account suspensions. After the top-up is completed, the account usage status is subject to Anthropic's official rules. The top-up agency platform does not include a warranty, and you need to ensure the account usage environment yourself (such as IP stability, etc.).
The top-up agency platform also does not promise that the account will definitely not be suspended. If the account abnormality is indeed caused by the top-up service, you can contact the platform for assistance in checking and handle it according to the refund policy.
In addition, Anthropic has recently added identity verification capabilities, so you must absolutely make sure the account is working normally before activating the card key.
⚠️ Cannot be stacked: Each account is limited to 1 activation code per month. Repeated use is invalid, and the membership duration does not stack.
⚠️ Virtual goods: Once the card key is issued, arbitrary returns or exchanges are not supported. Please ensure your Claude / ChatGPT account status is normal before activation.
⚠️ Compliant use: You must comply with OpenAI / Anthropic official usage policies.
Other Top-up Options in China
There are also some rather clever options, but they all have barriers.
01 Ask someone for help.
Having a friend abroad or a classmate studying overseas help you bind a card for payment sounds the safest, but in reality the other person needs your account password, and account security depends entirely on trust. Also, every renewal requires troubling someone else, and over time anyone would get annoyed.
02 Buy a ready-made account.
Accounts are registered in bulk and then sold. The price may be a bit cheaper, but the risk is the greatest. You do not know how the account was used before. Once the official platform detects abnormal activity, the account will be directly suspended, and all chat records and subscriptions in it will be wiped out.
03 Account sharing.
Multiple people jointly share one official subscription account. Users who participate pay a monthly fee to the account owner and obtain login access to the account. They use it in rotating time slots, or are online at the same time but with a limit on the number of concurrent users. The per-person cost is about 20-50 yuan/month.
Historical records may be seen by others, and the account may be suspended by the official risk control at any time. Moreover, shared accounts cannot use Claude Code, and during peak hours you need to wait in line.
04 Gift card top-up.
You need a US-region Apple ID. Buy a US-region Apple gift card and top up the Apple ID balance. Note: the iOS side previously suspended upgrade services, so gather more information before using it.
Do not buy low-priced gift cards on Taobao. Most of them are black cards, which can easily lead to your Apple ID being banned.
05 Virtual credit cards.
Virtual credit card providers such as BinPay, PokePay, DogPay, etc., have increased card opening costs, with the total cost for the first month being about 155-165 yuan. You must also use a U.S. IP and a U.S. tax-free state billing address, and the IP must match the city of the address. Stripe has strict risk control, and cards are easily rejected. For Claude, most domestic virtual credit cards cannot be used, card BINs are easily contaminated, and accounts get banned.
Moreover, many virtual credit card providers have ceased operations or run away.
Summary
At present, although there are many recharge channels for ChatGPT and Claude in China, most have high barriers.
A slight mistake can lead to card rejection or even account bans.
Although Apple gift cards are somewhat more stable, they are limited to the iOS ecosystem and the cost is relatively high;
Shared subscription plans may seem cheap, but they leak privacy and can fail at any time.
Overall, the most recommended option is a reliable third-party recharge service, which directly supports local payment methods such as Alipay and WeChat, does not require messing with a U.S. region ID, virtual cards, and a complex network environment, and can complete the subscription in a few minutes.
It avoids the risk of leaking personal payment information while also enjoying relatively stable after-sales support, making it currently the best-balanced option between cost-effectiveness and peace of mind.
