What is BiliNote
BiliNote is an open-source AI video note-taking assistant that supports video links from Bilibili, YouTube, and other platforms, automatically extracting video content to generate clearly structured, focused Markdown notes. BiliNote supports local audio transcription (such as Fast-Whisper), large model summarization (such as OpenAI, DeepSeek, Qwen), and other features. BiliNote provides practical features such as screenshot insertion, content jump links, and task records. BiliNote offers an efficient and convenient solution for video learning and content organization.
Main features of BiliNote
- Multi-platform support: Handles video links from platforms such as Bilibili and YouTube.
- Automatic note generation: Automatically transcribes video content into clear Markdown format notes, making it convenient for users to organize and review.
- Audio transcription: Supports local models (such as Fast-Whisper) for audio transcription.
- Large model summarization: Summarizes video content based on large models such as OpenAI, DeepSeek, Qwen, and extracts key information.
- Screenshot insertion: Automatically captures key frames from the video and inserts them into notes, helping users better understand the content.
- Content jump links: Adds jump links to the original video in the notes, making it convenient for users to review relevant segments at any time.
- Task records and history review: Saves the user's note generation history, making it convenient to view and manage previous notes at any time.
Technical principles of BiliNote
- Backend service: FastAPI is used to build the backend service, responsible for handling core logic such as video parsing, audio transcription, and content summarization. FastAPI is a modern, fast (high-performance) web framework suitable for building API services.
- Frontend interface: Vite + React is used to build the frontend interface, providing a user-friendly interactive experience. Users input video links, view generated notes, manage task records, and so on based on the frontend interface.
- Frontend-backend communication: The frontend and backend exchange data through HTTP requests and responses. The frontend sends information such as video links to the backend, and after processing is completed, the backend returns the generated note content to the frontend for display.
- Environment variable configuration: BiliNote provides flexible environment variable configuration, allowing users to configure parameters such as API keys, model selection, and storage paths as needed.
- Docker deployment: Supports one-click deployment with Docker, making it convenient for users to quickly start and run BiliNote in different environments.
