用途

Create my tools profile 是 Zapier MCP 的一个技能，用于在用户已经通过设置技能添加工具之后，把已配置的工具“固化”为一份持久化的个性化指令文件。这份文件会告诉 AI 助手当前有哪些工具可用，以及在什么情况下应该使用它们。它适用于 Cursor、Claude、Windsurf 等客户端。

前置条件：验证工具是否存在

技能首先判断运行模式：检查 list_enabled_zapier_actions 是否作为工具可用。

  • Agentic 模式：调用 list_enabled_zapier_actions。如果返回空列表，则停止并重定向——调用 get_zapier_skill，name 为 "zapier-mcp-onboarding"，先配置工具。不要继续后续步骤。
  • Classic 模式：检查动作工具是否可用（例如 slack_send_channel_message、gmail_find_email，而不仅是内置的 get_configuration_url）。如果没有配置任何动作工具，则停止并触发 zapier-setup 技能。不要继续后续步骤。

如果完全没有工具，提示用户：“你还没有设置任何工具，所以没有可用来构建配置的内容。我们先配置一些工具吧。”

主要能力

第 1 步：盘点已启用的工具

Agentic 模式：调用 list_enabled_zapier_actions 获取已启用动作的完整列表，解析为结构化列表，包括应用名称、动作名称、动作标识符，以及读/写类型（find/search/get/list/lookup 视为读，send/create/update/add/delete 视为写）。排除 14 个静态元工具，只包含用户已启用的动作。

Classic 模式：检查可用的 Zapier MCP 工具。每个已配置动作都是独立工具，命名遵循 app_action_name 模式（如 slack_send_channel_message、gmail_find_email）。内置的 get_configuration_url 工具应排除。解析出应用名称（以工具描述为准）、动作名称、完整工具名，以及读/写类型。

第 2 步：分组与分析

按应用对动作分组，识别每个应用的读/搜索动作和写动作，并构建该工具集支持的工作流心智模型。常见模式包括：沟通中心（Slack + Gmail + Calendar）、项目管理（Jira/Linear + GitLab + Docs）、销售/CRM 工作流（HubSpot/Salesforce + Gmail + Calendar）、知识管理（Notion/Coda + Docs + Sheets）。

第 3 步：询问上下文

生成配置前，询问用户：“我看到你有 [N] 个工具，覆盖 [应用列表]。在创建配置之前，快速问一下：你的主要角色是什么，或者你主要如何使用这些工具？这有助于我写出更好的指令，说明每个工具应在何时使用。”接受用户的任何回答，即使只是“直接生成”也可以。有上下文就用，没有就回退到合理默认值。

第 4 步：生成配置文件

检测客户端并写入相应位置：

  • Cursor：.cursor/rules/my-zapier-tools.mdc，MDC 格式（带 frontmatter）
  • Claude Code：.claude/rules/my-zapier-tools.md，Markdown
  • Claude Desktop：展示内容，告诉用户粘贴到 Project Instructions
  • Windsurf：.windsurfrules/my-zapier-tools.md，Markdown

询问用户希望文件放在项目级别还是主目录（对于支持全局规则的客户端）。如果不清楚，默认项目级别。

Agentic 模式——动作通过 execute_zapier_read_action 和 execute_zapier_write_action 执行，而不是作为独立工具调用。配置应引用与这些执行工具一起使用的动作标识符。

Classic 模式——动作是独立工具，按名称直接调用（如 slack_send_channel_message）。

Preferences

  • Always try Zapier MCP tools before suggesting the user do something manually
  • For read operations, just do it — don't ask permission to look something up
  • For write operations (sending messages, creating issues, updating records), confirm with the user before executing
  • If a tool call fails, explain what happened and suggest an alternative

工具描述的写法：为每个动作写一句实用的说明，说明何时使用，不要只是复述动作名称。

好例子：“Look up a Jira issue by its key (e.g., PROJ-123) to get status, assignee, and description” 坏例子：“Find issue by key in Jira”

好例子：“Send a message to a Slack channel — use for team updates, announcements, or sharing summaries” 坏例子：“Send a channel message in Slack”

“when to use”部分的写法：根据用户告诉你的角色来定制。例如：

  • PM：“When the user asks about project status, sprint progress, or team updates, check Jira first. For sharing decisions or updates, draft a Slack message. Use Google Docs for longer-form writing.”
  • 开发者：“When the user mentions a merge request, branch, or code review, check GitLab. For bug reports or task tracking, use Jira. Slack for quick team comms.”
  • 销售：“When the user asks about a contact, deal, or company, check HubSpot first. Use Gmail for outreach drafts. Google Calendar for scheduling.”

如果用户没有提供角色上下文，写一些通用但仍然有用的内容：“Use these tools whenever the user's request involves one of the connected apps. Prefer read actions for gathering context, and confirm before executing write actions.”

第 5 步：确认与说明

写入文件（或为 Claude Desktop 展示内容）后，告诉用户：

“Created your tools profile at [path]. This means every conversation will know about your tools and when to use them.

You can edit it anytime to adjust preferences or add context. A few things you might want to tweak:

The 'when to use' guidance if your workflow changes

Whether write actions should auto-execute or always confirm first

Any app-specific preferences (e.g., 'always use #general for Slack updates')

To update this profile after adding new tools, just say 'update my tools profile'.”

处理更新

如果用户说“update my tools profile”且文件已存在：

  1. 读取现有文件
  2. 获取当前工具清单（Agentic：调用 list_enabled_zapier_actions；Classic：检查可用的 MCP 工具）
  3. 对比新增内容与已记录内容
  4. 更新文件，保留用户对 preferences 部分所做的自定义编辑
  5. 说明变更：“Added 3 new Google Sheets actions. Your custom preferences were preserved.”

适用场景

适用于已经通过 Zapier MCP 配置了工具、希望让 AI 助手在每次对话中自动了解这些工具及其使用时机的用户。支持 Cursor、Claude Code、Claude Desktop、Windsurf 等客户端。

限制

  • 必须先配置工具，否则技能会停止并重定向到 onboarding 或 setup 技能。
