用途：为 Hermes Agent 提供基于浏览器的聊天界面。每个 UI 中的“agent”对应一个 Hermes profile（含独立主目录、配置和会话），可在网页上管理多个 profile 并对话。
主要能力：多 profile 管理与增删；通过 SSE 流式输出对话；后端以 hermes -p <profile> chat -Q -q "<message>" 驱动；独立终端里新建的会话会自动同步到侧边栏；WebSocket(PTY) 接入 xterm.js 提供交互式终端，用于 hermes model 等设置命令；支持文件上传并按路径或 --image 传给 Hermes；JWT 认证、SQLite 存储、主题与单用户模式。
安装与启动：需 Node.js 18+、Hermes Agent（hermes 在 PATH 中），Windows 另需 Git for Windows 与 Visual Studio Build Tools。命令：先 hermes --version 与 hermes status 校验，再 git clone https://github.com/lotsoftick/hermes_client.git、cd hermes_client、npm start。默认客户端 http://localhost:18888，API http://localhost:18889，默认凭据 admin@admin.com / 123456。npm start 会构建、部署到 ~/.hermes_client、安装自启动并创建全局 hermes_client 命令，可用 hermes_client start|stop|restart|status|uninstall（--purge 删库），开发用 npm run dev。
配置与限制：端口在 ~/.hermes_client/.env（API_PORT=18889、CLIENT_PORT=18888）；api/.env 可设 HERMES_BIN、HERMES_STRICT_CORS、ALLOWED_DOMAIN、HERMES_HOME、HERMES_SINGLE_USER_MODE 等。常见问题包括找不到 hermes 二进制、端口冲突、CORS、会话同步、PTY 连接、Windows 安装和数据库锁定，资料给出对应排查命令。其余未在资料中说明的内容暂未提供。
