主要能力：所有 API 调用通过 scripts/rest_request.py 完成。常用路径包括 rest/getLigandsByPDBs、rest/getLigandsByUniprots、rest/getLigandsBySmiles 和 rest/getTargetsByCompound。可在 params 中加入 response=application/json 获取结构化输出；部分空结果情况仍可能返回空响应体。宽泛查询建议从 max_items=10 左右开始，相似性类查询建议使用 5-10。长对话中应重新运行请求，而不是依赖旧的工具输出。工具预览中显示的 ... 是界面截断，不是请求内容本身。
使用方式：脚本从标准输入读取一个 JSON 对象。必填字段：base_url、path。可选字段：method、params、headers、json_body、form_body、record_path、response_format、max_items、max_depth、timeout_sec、save_raw、raw_output_path。默认返回基于脚本 JSON 的简明 markdown 摘要。如需完整载荷，设置 save_raw=true 并报告保存的文件路径，而不要把大响应体粘贴到对话中。成功返回 ok、source、path、method、status_code、warnings 以及紧凑记录、摘要或 text_head；失败返回 ok=false 及 error.code、error.message。示例命令：echo '{"base_url":"https://bindingdb.org","path":"rest/getLigandsByPDBs","params":{"pdb":"1Q0L","cutoff":100,"identity":92,"response":"application/json"},"max_items":10}' | python scripts/rest_request.py。
限制：base_url 固定为 https://bindingdb.org；无额外运行时引用，导入包仅限本文件与 scripts/rest_request.py。其余能力与限制资料中暂未提供。
