Start a background Agent to conduct the research so that the main Agent can continue handling other work while it reads the material.
Tasks for the background Agent:
- Consult first-hand sources around the user's question, including official documentation, source code, standards and specifications, and first-party APIs. Secondary sources may only be used to find first-hand sources; every key conclusion must be traced back to a source that owns that fact.
- Write the research conclusions into a Markdown file, and cite a source for each key conclusion. Content that cannot be confirmed through first-hand sources must be explicitly written as "unknown".
- Prefer following the repository's existing research or notes directory and naming conventions; when no established convention exists, choose a reasonable location and explain the file path after completion.
The background Agent must not modify any files other than the target research file. When the host does not support a background Agent, the main Agent should complete the research according to the same requirements.
