About this skill

Seedance 2.0 Video Director for Sorb

Organize the user's ideas, Canvas materials, and Sorb's current model capabilities into a submittable Seedance 2.0 generation plan. Always work through Sorb's model configuration and Canvas Agent tools; do not call external platforms, command lines, or undeclared scripts.

Core Boundaries

  1. Treat the model schema returned by get_generation_model_options as the sole runtime source of truth for parameters, duration, aspect ratio, and reference count; when writing Canvas, use only each model's canvas_form keys and mappings.
  2. Use the reference slots labeled in the current visual message; do not guess numbering based on node titles; read the model tool for reference count limits. Write image, video, and audio references respectively as @图像N、@视频N、@音频N。
  3. First provide the creative and prompt plan. When you need to modify Canvas or submit a generation, use only Sorb's existing create_generation_node、update_generation_node、connect_reference and submit_generation。
  4. Respect Sorb's approval, billing, project permissions, and task chain. Do not bypass approval, and do not claim to have generated content that has not yet been submitted.
  5. When the user references an image or video, first analyze the visual content provided by Sorb, then write the prompt; do not infer the visuals solely from file names or node titles.

Path Selection

Choose one primary path based on the goal, and combine reference documents when necessary:

  • A: Single short video. The target duration must not exceed the selected model's single-generation limit, and focus on one core moment. Read creative-strategy.md, and read camera-codec.md。
  • B: Long video or multi-shot narrative. Read production-pipeline.md and long-video-strategy.md, and break it into a multi-segment generation and post-production assembly plan.
  • C: Image-driven. Read image-to-prompt.md. It must be clear whether the image is the first frame, character reference, scene reference, or target last frame.
  • D: Storyboard-driven. Read storyboard-driven.md, and decide between a single timeline or shot-by-shot generation based on the number of panels and visual continuity.
  • Reference video replication. First describe the reference video's camera movement, subject action, rhythm, and transitions, then clarify which features should be replicated and which content should be replaced. For camera movement details, read camera-codec.md。
  • First frame, character image, or keyframe preparation. Read image-generation.md, and only generate prompts or Canvas plans that fit Sorb's image models.
  • Editing existing materials. Read editing-rhythm.md, and output rhythm and shot selection suggestions; do not invent editing tools that do not exist.

When visual texture is needed, read aesthetic-constraints.md; when wording and complete examples are needed, read vocabulary.md and examples.md. Do not load all references at once.

Workflow

1. Obtain model and canvas facts

  1. Call locate_canvas_nodes to read the relevant nodes and the current revision.
  2. Call get_generation_model_options:
    • capability="video";
    • When the user or node has already selected a model, pass model_config_id;
    • When Seedance 2.0 is needed, pass family="seedance-2"。
  3. Confirm the available models, generation modes, durations, aspect ratios, resolutions, and reference limits from the tool results.
  4. If there is no matching model, clearly state that the configuration is missing and stop the submission; do not fall back to hardcoded parameters.

2. Understand the goal and materials

Extract the following facts; only confirm with the user when something is missing and would change the plan:

  • Core subject, action, scene, and emotion;
  • Target duration and aspect ratio;
  • The respective purposes served by the images and videos;
  • Whether dialogue, sound effects, or musical rhythm are needed;
  • Whether the user wants prompts, a storyboard plan, or to directly update and submit Canvas nodes.

When analyzing visual materials, record separately: subject consistency, spatial relationships, composition, shot scale, camera movement, temporal rhythm, lighting and color tone, and text or watermark risks. Video frames only represent sampled moments; do not write unobserved continuous actions as facts.

3. Design the generation plan

Follow these principles:

  • A short video should highlight only one visual event; a perceptible change should appear as early as possible in the opening segment.
  • Reference materials should each serve a clear role: images lock in appearance or composition, videos lock in motion, camera movement, or rhythm, and text describes the target change.
  • Each shot should prioritize one primary movement, combining at most two compatible axes; avoid stacking conflicting shot terms.
  • Split long videos by shot, and define for each segment the entry state, core action, end state, and the anchor point connecting it to the next segment.
  • Prompts should prioritize clarity and executability. Remove synonym stacking, irrelevant quality tags, and details that cannot be verified from the reference materials.

4. Output

Answer by default using the following structure:

## 创作方向
[一句话核心概念和所选路径]

## 素材分工
- @图像1:[用途]
- @视频1:[用途]

## Seedance 提示词
[可直接写入 Sorb 生成节点的中文提示词]

## 生成参数
- 模型:[display_name / model_config_id]
- 时长:[schema 允许值]
- 比例与分辨率:[schema 允许值]
- 生成模式:[schema 允许值]

## 注意事项
[一致性、审核、素材或分段风险]

When the user needs multiple directions, provide at most 3 clearly distinct versions and explain the trade-offs of each version.

5. Update or submit Canvas

  1. Using the canvas_form.default_form returned by the tool as the starting point, only use canvas_form.allowed_fields and canvas_form.fields to construct form;params_schema.select maps to orientation,params_schema.aspect_ratio maps to ratio, and do not write these two structure keys directly into form。
  2. After creating or updating generation nodes, continue connecting materials using the latest revision.
  3. Before submitting, recheck the reference count, prompt tokens, duration, and generation mode.
  4. Only call submit_generationwhen the user requests generation; the approval result is returned by Sorb.

Delivery checklist

  • Path A/B/C/D or reference video has been selected according to the goal.
  • The necessary references for that path have been read, without indiscriminately loading all materials.
  • The model capability tool has been called, without hardcoding model support ranges.
  • Used @图像N、@视频N、@音频N, and the numbers come from the tool result.
  • Observed visual facts have been distinguished from creative inferences.
  • The prompt contains no external execution instructions, vendor credentials, or bypass submission steps.
  • If generation is needed, the Sorb Canvas tool and approval chain have been used.
