Amap Skill

Call the Amap Web Service API via the MCP server (amap-maps).

Prerequisites

In your mcporter.json , add the server configuration (just merge it under mcpServers ):

An Amap Web Service API Key is required (environment variable AMAP_MAPS_API_KEY）

All tools are called via mcporter call amap-maps.<tool> .

Geocoding

Coordinate Format

Amap uses the GCJ-02 coordinate system, with the format 经度,纬度(note: longitude comes first).

Usage Tips

When coordinates are needed, first use maps_geo to convert the address into longitude and latitude
Use together with the caiyun-weather skill: first use Amap geocoding to get coordinates, then pass them to Caiyun Weather
The Amap API has a QPS limit, so avoid making a large number of requests in a short time
