About this skill

Hot Topic and Competitor Radar

Goals

Identify user needs, expression structures, and timeliness opportunities without copying competitors' viewpoints or copy.

Data Source Priority

  1. Links, screenshots, export files, and materials provided by the user.
  2. Official documentation, original releases, papers, announcements, and authors' original posts.
  3. Platform public search, hot lists, competitor homepages, and public engagement data.
  4. Credible secondary sources, used to supplement background, not replace first-hand facts.

Recent products, people, prices, versions, news, and platform rules must be verified online. Technical facts should prioritize official sources.

Research Process

1. Define the Research Question

Confirm whether the question to answer is about hot topic windows, keyword demand, competitor structure, account positioning, or content opportunities. First limit the platform, time range, and sample size.

2. Collect a Limited Sample

Only collect samples that can answer the question. Record links, publication times, titles, content forms, public engagement, and observation notes. Do not directly call a single high performance a pattern.

3. Break Down the Structure

Check item by item:

  • What promise, identity, conflict, or information gap the title uses.
  • How the first 3 seconds or first screen builds retention.
  • How the content organizes evidence, story, steps, and turns.
  • What task the cover or first image undertakes.
  • How actions, tags, collections, and publication times coordinate with the goal.
  • What real questions and objections the comment section reveals.

4. Judge Opportunities

Distinguish:

  • Facts that can be directly verified.
  • Patterns that appear repeatedly across multiple samples.
  • Phenomena that may be caused by hot topics, paid traffic, or account size.
  • First-hand experience, counterevidence, and independent judgment that users can add.

5. Turn Into Original Topic Ideas

For each candidate, write clearly: one-sentence judgment, target audience, timeliness window, first-hand evidence, differentiated angle, suitable platform, evidence still missing, and risks.

Output

Deliverables:

  1. Research scope and sample description.
  2. 3 to 5 structural findings.
  3. Content on which conclusions cannot be drawn.
  4. 3 to 5 original topic ideas.
  5. The most recommended topic ideas and the next validation actions.
