Overview
Through the linkedin command-line tool (driven by the Linked API cloud browser), operate LinkedIn. Fetch and search home feed and companies, send messages and connection requests, publish posts, like and comment, run Sales Navigator searches, and extract structured data about people, companies, and posts.
When to use
Use when an agent needs to operate LinkedIn programmatically: outreach at scale, lead research, network management, content publishing, or data extraction.
Core features
- Fetch and search: home feed, companies, people search, Sales Navigator search
- Engagement: send messages, connection requests, likes, comments
- Publishing: create posts
- Extraction: structured data about people, companies, and posts
Do not use
This skill should not be used in the following scenarios:
- Bypassing LinkedIn's access controls, rate limits, or account security measures
- Storing or exposing LinkedIn credentials, session cookies, or access tokens
- Sending messages, connection requests, likes, comments, or publishing posts without the user's explicit approval
Usage instructions
- Confirm the LinkedIn operation, target, and audience before any write operation.
- Keep Linked API credentials in the user's secure environment; examples use placeholders.
- Before the user approves writes, prioritize read-only home feed, company, search, and extraction operations.
- Before sending, publishing, or modifying data, summarize the target and content and obtain confirmation immediately.
- Comply with LinkedIn policies, user consent, privacy requirements, and rate limits; stop when authentication or access is unavailable.
Notes
Each command launches a real cloud browser through Linked API, so operations typically take seconds to minutes and are not completed instantly. A Linked API account and token are required. Documentation:https://linkedapi.io
