Goal
Before the formal shoot, first perform a visual beautification exploration on the user-uploaded real-person reference image to obtain a refined identity reference image。
Trigger
- Trigger only when the user actively requests it, for example "beautify reference image / refine reference image / make a triptych beautification / Meitu Xiuxiu-style refinement."
- When the system sees a real-person reference imageit must not proactively ask whether to use this Skill, to avoid interrupting autonomous mode or gacha mode.
- Not invoking this Skill does not affect the formal shoot: the Editorial makeup artist node in the direction stage will still automatically handle the formal makeup and skin optimization.
- When there is already a user-approved refined identity reference image, it can be reused directly; unless the user actively requests re-beautification.
User experience
- Do not display text tiers.
- Directly generate exactly 3 clear, independent versions in a triptych visual preview, making it easy to choose by left / middle / right.
- The three panels form a visibly perceptible but not overly distorted difference in skin, complexion, makeup completeness, hair strands, hairstyle feel, and overall retouching;at least one panel must provide a "fair, soft-focus refined" effect。
- After the user chooses left / middle / right, enlarge only the selected version to obtain a high-definition single refined identity reference image。
User guidance after triptych output
After the triptych preview, the following user-visible prompt must immediately follow, and the user must not be left only to choose between left / middle / right:

- When the user makes a specific request, first inherit the identity anchor and the unnamed beautification conditions, modify only the named dimension, and regenerate the triptych or the specified version.
- "Meitu Xiuxiu-style refinement" means more obvious fair brightening, blemish cleanup, delicate light skin smoothing, soft-focus glow, clear makeup feel, and photo refinement; it still must not change the face, over-age-reduce, create plastic skin, or lose real hair texture.
Internal design logic of the three panels (internal only; no need to show to the user first)
- Left: natural retouching + Editorial hairstylist's fresh short/medium-short hair plan. Improve skin tone, spots/redness/unevenness, dark circles, exposure, and complexion; the hairstyle may not follow the original hair length and texture, and should be based on clarity, lightness, and facial openness.
- Middle: fair, soft-focus studio refinement (mandatory) + Editorial hairstylist's high-completion portrait hairstyle. Without changing the face, age-reducing, or making plastic skin, noticeably fade spots, redness, and uneven skin tone; add slight skin smoothing, a soft soft-focus glow, and an even, fair-leaning healthy complexion, and fully improve makeup, gaze, blush/lip color, facial highlights, and photo refinement; hair length, straight/wavy texture, and silhouette can be freely reconstructed, based on the most photogenic temperament direction.
- Right: image enhancement + Editorial hairstylist's dramatic image plan. Keep the identity recognizable, but allow more obvious reconsideration of makeup completeness, hairstyle length, straight/wavy texture, silhouette, and overall persona temperament, used to find a stronger photographic image direction.
Beautification scope
- Overall brightening and clear, bright feel
- Even skin tone, fade spots, redness, and uneven skin tone
- Reduce dark circles, moderately brighten the face
- Brighten the gaze but do not change eye shape
- Natural blush and lip color
- Soft facial highlights and overall color tone optimization
- Moderate optimization of hair strands, top/sides/bangs/silhouette
- Subtle soft-focus glow and portrait refinement (more pronounced in center/right, kept as restrained as possible on the left)
- Center panel fair-skinned soft-focus retouching mandatory combination: noticeable reduction of spots/redness/uneven skin tone + slight skin smoothing + soft soft-focus glow + even, fairer healthy skin tone; all four are indispensable, and must not sacrifice real hair, natural facial dimensionality, or the person's identity.
- Editorial professional hairstylist design mandatory process: each panel must first have a hairstylist derive the hairstyle from the person's temperament, face shape and facial feature focal points, head-to-neck proportions, makeup, portrait framing, and lighting, and then generate the image. It may be lengthened or shortened, straightened or curled at will, and the parting, bangs/exposed forehead, top volume, side wrapping, back section tapering, and necessary hair color texture may be adjusted; the original reference image's hair length, straightness/curliness, and hair color do not constitute default constraints.Bangs design as a required decision: each panel must choose and specify whether to keep the original bangs, transform them into a specific bang shape, or expose the forehead; the choice must serve the brows and eyes, forehead proportions, and overall temperament, and random carryover is prohibited.
Identity and hairstyle boundaries
- All three panels must preserve the same person's recognizable face shape, core facial features, and age impression.
- The hairstyle adjustments here are mainly for finding the vibe, and are not equivalent to a formal shoot hairstyle confirmation; although length, straightness/curliness, and hair color texture may be freely changed, hairstyle changes must not be used to mask identity drift.
- The enlarged beautified image selected by the user counts as derived beauty image. Unless the user explicitly says "use this as the character reference from now on/use this as the standard from now on," it will not replace the canonical identity reference of the originally uploaded original image; formal shoots still use the original image to lock the face. Each formal shoot theme must still undergo an independent Editorial professional hairstylist design.
Identity reference promotion rules
- Selecting left/center/right or performing enlargement itself does not equal switching the identity reference.
- The beautified result is by default only a derived image; subsequent shoots continue to use the original real-person original image to lock identity.
- Only when the user explicitly requests that the beautified result be set as the subsequent identity reference is explicit promotion permitted.
