"The part that cannot be written down is your true moat." — But the part that can be written down is already powerful enough.
Core Philosophy
Nuwa is not about copying a person, butdistilling a thinking framework。
A good persona Skill is a runnable cognitive operating system:
- What does he usemental modelsto see the world? (lenses)
- What does he usedecision heuristicsto make judgments? (intuitive rules)
- How does heexpress?(DNA)
- What will heabsolutely notdo? (anti-patterns)
- What is this Skillunable to do? (honest boundaries)
Key distinction: what is captured is HOW they think, not WHAT they said.
Execution Flow
Phase 0: Entry Routing
After receiving user input, first determine which path it belongs to:
| User input | Path | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Clear person name/topic | Direct path → Phase 0A | "Distill Munger" "Make a Feynman skill" |
| Vague need/confusion | Diagnostic path → Phase 0B | "I want to improve the quality of my decisions" "Is there a way of thinking that can help me see through the essence of business" |
Phase 0A: Requirement Clarification (Direct Path)
After receiving a clear name, confirm:
- Who this person/topic is: ensure understanding is correct
- Focus direction(optional): comprehensive portrait vs. focus on a certain dimension?
- Purpose: thinking advisor? decision reference? role-playing?
- Create new or update: does a Skill for this person already exist? (check the
.claude/skills/directory) - Local corpus: "Do you have any first-hand material on this person? Such as book PDFs, speech/interview transcripts, video subtitles, personal blog exports, etc. If so, send them directly to me; the quality is much higher than searching online."
If the user says "just make XX" with no more information → default to comprehensive portrait + thinking advisor + no local corpus (use web search), and proceed directly. If the user provides a local corpus → mark it aslocal corpus mode, and the collection strategy in Phase 1 will be adjusted accordingly.
After confirmation → skip to Phase 0.5.
Phase 0B: Requirement Diagnosis (Vague Path)
The user does not know who to distill, only has a need or confusion. At this point Nuwa's job is toreverse-infer the most suitable distillation target from the need。
Step 1: Requirement Positioning
Through 1-2 follow-up questions, locate the core need dimension of the user:
| Need dimension | Typical expression | Thinking Framework Directions |
|---|---|---|
| Decision-Making and Judgment | "How to make better decisions," "always choosing wrong," "analysis paralysis" | Multidisciplinary mental models, inversion, probabilistic thinking |
| Expression and Writing | "Want to explain complex things clearly," "no one reads my articles," "writing is boring" | Feynman-style simplification, storytelling mindset, analogical ability |
| Entrepreneurship and Business | "Want to do indie development," "can't figure out the business model," "can't find PMF" | First principles, leverage thinking, product restraint |
| Teaching and Communication | "No one listens to my lectures," "students can't understand," "low knowledge transfer efficiency" | From known to unknown, metaphorical teaching, minimal necessary knowledge |
| Critical Thinking | "Always get fooled," "want to identify unreliable claims," "can't see through to the essence" | Falsification thinking, evolutionary perspective, cognitive bias identification |
| Content Creation | "Videos get no traffic," "don't know what to film," "content has no distinctive features" | Attention engineering, test iteration, audience psychology |
| Life Strategy | "Confused about career direction," "never enough time," "anxious" | Long-termism, leverage choices, compound thinking |
| Risk and Uncertainty | "How to respond to black swans," "always lose money investing," "too conservative/too risky" | Antifragility, convex strategies, tail risk management |
| Design and Product | "Poor user experience," "product has no distinctive features," "don't know how to subtract" | Minimalism, user mental models, constraints as creativity |
| Humor and Expressiveness | "Talking is boring," "want to make content more interesting," "too serious" | Absurd contrast, expectation violation, self-deprecating authority |
Probing principles:
- Ask at most 2 rounds, don't turn it into a questionnaire
- If the user has already expressed themselves clearly enough, don't probe, recommend directly
- The purpose of probing is to distinguish similar dimensions (e.g., is "decision-making" business decision-making or life decision-making?)
Example Dialogue(Demonstrating diagnostic rhythm):
Watch the rhythm: one round of probing to locate the scenario → confirm the need → recommend directly. Don't still be asking in the third round.
Step 2: Candidate Recommendations
Based on the need dimensions, recommend 2-3 candidate options. Candidates can be people or topics.
First determine: person Skill or topic Skill?
- The user's need points to a specific way of thinking → person Skill (distilling someone's thinking framework)
- The user's need points to a methodology in a certain field → topic Skill (synthesizing multiple perspectives, see "Special Scenarios > Topic Skill")
- Uncertain → include both types in the recommendations and let the user choose
Source A: Existing Local Skills
Scan the .claude/skills/*-perspective/ directory, read the description of each SKILL.md, and match against the user's needs. Existing Skills are plug-and-play and do not need to be re-distilled. If the scan result is empty (the user does not yet have any perspective skill), skip this step and only recommend from Source B.
Source B: New Distillation Candidates Based on the "Thinking Framework Direction" column in the requirements dimension table, match the most relevant person or topic. When recommending, state clearly: which thinking framework of this person can solve the user's specific problem.
Display format for each candidate:
### 候选1: [人名/主题] ⚡已有Skill / 🆕需要蒸馏
**核心镜片**:[此人看世界的独特方式,一句话]
**为什么适合你**:[直接对应用户需求,说清楚匹配逻辑]
**局限**:[这个视角的盲区,什么问题他帮不了]
Recommendation principles:
- No more than 3 candidates; difficulty choosing is worse than having no choice
- Existing Skills are shown first (plug and play, zero cost)
- Candidates must be differentiated; do not recommend 3 similar people
- Limitations must be stated clearly — there is no universal thinking framework
- Recommendations must be specific to "which thinking model of this person" matches the need, not just vaguely saying "he is very impressive"
Step 3: User selection
- Selected an existing Skill → directly activate that Skill, task complete
- Selected a new distillation candidate → enter Phase 0A to confirm details → Phase 0.5 begins distillation
- Not satisfied with any → return to Step 1 to continue exploring, or the user proposes a new candidate themselves
Phase 0.5: Create Skill directory
Execute immediately after receiving confirmation, complete before research:
.claude/skills/[person-name]-perspective/

Completion check(automatic execution):
- Directory created
- If the person is Chinese: switch the information source strategy to prioritize Bilibili original videos/Xiaoyuzhou podcasts/authoritative Chinese media (Zhihu and WeChat official accounts are always excluded, see the information source blacklist)
- If in update mode: the existing SKILL.md has been read, and which information needs refreshing is marked
- If the user provided local corpus: copy/move the materials to
sources/the corresponding subdirectory, marked aslocal corpus mode
Key rules:
- Each subagent must write the research results into the corresponding md file. Research that is not saved to a file is as if it was not done.
- All research files must be stored inside the skill directory(
references/research/), absolutely do not store them in07-调研与分析/or other external directories. A Skill must be self-contained — copying the entire skill directory allows it to be used independently, without depending on any external files. This is a core principle designed for open-source distribution.
Phase 1: Multi-source information collection (parallel Agent Swarm)
Mode determination: local corpus vs web search
Based on the results of Phase 0A, choose the corresponding collection strategy:
| Mode | Trigger condition | Strategy |
|---|---|---|
| Pure web search(default) | The user did not provide local materials | All 6 Agents use web search, full process |
| Local corpus first | The user provided PDFs/transcripts/subtitles/articles, etc. | Analyze local materials first, web search becomes supplementary |
| Pure local corpus | The user explicitly says "only use the materials I provide" or is distilling a non-public figure | Only analyze local materials, do not perform web search |
Execution logic of local corpus first mode:
- Read local materials first: classify the files provided by the user according to the 6 dimensions (one book may simultaneously cover multiple dimensions such as works + dialogue + expression)
- Identify information gaps: which dimensions do the local materials cover? Which dimensions are missing or weak?
- Targeted supplementary search: Launch the web search Agent only for missing dimensions; skip searching for dimensions that already have sufficient local material
- Source labeling: In the research document, clearly distinguish "from user-provided material" vs "from web search"
Common forms of local material and how to handle them:
| Material type | Handling method | Dimensions covered |
|---|---|---|
| Book PDF | Read directly to extract core arguments | Works (01), Expression (03) |
| Speech/interview transcript | Analyze question-and-answer patterns and improvised reactions | Dialogue (02), Expression (03) |
| Video subtitle SRT | Handle the same as transcript | Dialogue (02), Expression (03) |
| Blog/newsletter export | Extract systematic viewpoints | Works (01), Expression (03) |
| Social media export | Analyze fragmented expression patterns | Expression (03) |
| Internal documents/memos | Analyze decision-making logic | Decision-making (05) |
| User-compiled notes | Use as secondary source for cross-reference | Depends on specific content |
Quality advantages of local corpus: First-hand material in the user's possession (especially complete books and full interview transcripts) is usually much higher quality than second-hand paraphrases found via web search. In source priority, first-hand material provided locally ranks with the highest weight.
Below is the standard task allocation for the 6 Agents (pure web search mode, or supplementary search for missing dimensions in local corpus mode):
Launch 6 parallel subagents, each responsible for a different information dimension.
Task allocation for the 6 Agents
| Agent | Search target | Extraction focus | Output file |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 Works | Books, long articles, papers, newsletters | Recurring core arguments (≥3 times = true belief), self-coined terms, recommended book list | 01-writings.md |
| 2 Dialogue | Podcasts, long videos, AMA, in-depth interviews | How they respond when pressed, improvised analogies, moments of changing stance, questions they refuse to answer | 02-conversations.md |
| 3 Expression | Twitter/X, Weibo, Jike, short articles | High-frequency vocabulary and sentence patterns, controversial positions, sense of humor, public debates | 03-expression-dna.md |
| 4 Others | Analyses by others, book reviews, criticism, biographies | Externally observed patterns, criticism and controversies, comparison with peers | 04-external-views.md |
| 5 Decision-making | Major decisions, turning points, controversial actions | Decision context and logic, post-hoc reflections, cases of consistency/inconsistency between words and actions | 05-decisions.md |
| 6 Timeline | Complete timeline from birth/debut to the present | Key milestones, intellectual turning points,Updates from the last 12 months(to prevent staleness) | 06-timeline.md |
Hard requirements for each Agent
- Research results must be written into
references/research/0X-xxx.md - Note information sources and credibility (first-hand > second-hand > speculation)
- Distinguish "what he said" vs "what others say about him" vs "what I infer"
- When contradictions are found, preserve them; do not paper over differences
Agent prompt template
When spawning a subagent, give the task using the following structure (using Agent 1's work as an example):
你的任务:调研[人名]的著作和系统性长文。
搜索方向:
- 此人出版的书籍(书名、核心论点、出版年份)
- 长篇newsletter/博客/论文
- 反复出现≥3次的核心论点(这些是真信念)
- 自创术语和概念
- 推荐书单(揭示智识谱系)
输出要求:
- 写入 [skill目录]/references/research/01-writings.md
The other 5 Agents can adjust the search direction and output filename according to the same structure.
Tool assistance (if available)
- Books: Search and download via Z-Library/LibGen → save to
sources/books/ - Video subtitle acquisition (script already provided, call directly):
- Step 1 Download subtitles:
bash [skill目录]/references/download_subtitles.sh <YouTube_URL> [输出目录]- Automatically prioritize manual subtitles → Chinese → English → auto-generated subtitles
- Output SRT/VTT files to the specified directory
- Step 2 Clean to plain text:
python3 [skill目录]/references/srt_to_transcript.py <input.srt> [output.txt]- Remove timestamps, numbering, HTML tags, and consecutive duplicate lines
- Output a clean, readable transcript → save to
sources/transcripts/
- User provides a local video file (no subtitles): use the gemini-video skill to transcribe
- Step 1 Download subtitles:
- Podcasts: Search transcript websites (podcastnotes.org, etc.)
- Research summary generation (for Phase 1.5):
python3 [skill目录]/references/merge_research.py <skill目录>- Automatically scan
references/research/01-06.md, count the number of sources, primary/secondary proportion, and key findings - Output a markdown table for the Phase 1.5 checkpoint, no manual counting required
- Automatically scan
- Quality self-check (for Phase 4):
python3 [skill目录]/references/quality_check.py <SKILL.md路径>- Automatically check the 6 pass criteria: number of mental models, limitations, expression DNA, honest boundaries, internal tensions, primary source proportion
- Output item-by-item PASS/FAIL and a summary
Use installed information acquisition Skills
Before Phase 1 starts, proactively scan the .claude/skills/ directory, to check whether there is a skill usable for information acquisition. If there is, prioritize calling it during research; it is more stable and efficient than WebSearch:
| Installed Skill | Purpose | Invocation scenario |
|---|---|---|
gemini-video |
Analyze local video files and extract transcripts | The user provided a video file but there are no subtitles |
web-article-reader |
Accurately read the full text of web articles | When an important article URL is found, extract it precisely instead of relying on search snippets |
agent-reach |
Multi-channel information acquisition (17 platforms) | Need to obtain information from platforms such as X/Reddit/YouTube |
huashu-research |
Structured in-depth research | Need to conduct in-depth research on a certain dimension rather than casting a wide net |
pdf |
Read PDF books/papers | The user provided primary source material in PDF format |
Execution method: When spawning a subagent, inform the agent of the names and purposes of available skills, so the agent can call them as needed during research. This is much more efficient than letting the agent fumble around with WebSearch on its own.
Information source priority
| Source type | What it reveals | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| Primary source material provided by the user | Complete original text, without secondary filtering | Highest+ |
| The person's own works | Systematic thinking | Highest |
| Long conversations/interviews | Improvised thought process | Highest |
| Actual decision records | Real behavior vs claims | Highest |
| Social media | Expression style, immediate reactions | Medium |
| Others' evaluations | External perspective, blind spots | Medium |
| Secondhand retellings | Reference but needs verification | Low |
Information source blacklist (always excluded)
- Zhihu: severe content scraping and high information distortion rate; not used as a source for any dimension
- WeChat Official Accounts: closed ecosystem, unverifiable, and heavily reliant on secondhand retellings; not used as a source
- Baidu Baike/Baidu Zhidao: outdated and unreliable information
For Chinese-language channels, only authoritative media are accepted: 36Kr, GeekPark, LatePost, Caixin, Yicai, Huxiu, SSPAI, Synced, etc. For interviews, podcast platforms (Xiaoyuzhou, original Himalaya audio) and original Bilibili videos (not repost accounts) may be used.
Agent timeout and failure handling
- Single Agent timeout(no valuable results after 5 minutes of searching): do not wait; continue advancing. Mark "insufficient information" in Phase 2 and explain in the honesty boundaries
- Scarcity of information sources(<10 usable sources): alert the user at Phase 0.5, lower expectations (reduce mental models to 2-3), and increase the length of the honesty boundaries
- Conflicting Agent results: preserve contradictions—the contradiction itself is a valuable signal. Include them in the "internal tensions" section
Key rule: better to generate an honest 60-point Skill that clearly notes its limitations than a seemingly perfect 90-point Skill that is actually fabricated.
Phase 1.5: Research Review checkpoint
After all Agents are complete, pause to show a research quality summary:
┌──────────────────┬──────────┬──────────────────────────┐
│ Agent │
│ 3 表达 │ 120条 │ 高频词: "skin in the..." │
└──────────────────┴──────────┴──────────────────────────┘
User confirms research quality is OK → proceed to Phase 2. User feels a certain dimension is insufficient → supplement the research before continuing.
The significance of this checkpoint: research quality determines the upper limit of the final Skill. Garbage in, garbage out; intercepting here is much cheaper than reworking in Phase 4.
Phase 2: Framework Synthesis
After the materials from the 6 Agents are aggregated, perform structured synthesis. First read references/extraction-framework.md to obtain the triple-validation methodology for mental models (cross-domain recurrence, generativity, self-coined terminology) and ensure synthesis quality.
2.1 Mental model extraction (3-7)
Operating steps:
- Scan: read
01-writings.mdto05-decisions.mdone by one, and list all candidate claims (views this person repeatedly expresses, self-coined terms, core assertions). This usually yields 15-30 candidates - Triple-validation screening: perform on each candidate (see
references/extraction-framework.md):- Cross-domain recurrence: does it appear in ≥2 different domains/topics?
- Generativity: can it infer this person's stance on new issues?
- Exclusivity: is it not something all smart people think?
- Pass all three → mental model; only 1-2 → downgrade to decision heuristic; 0 → discard
- Ranking and selection: sort by strength of exclusivity (the more unique, the higher), and take the top 3-7. Better fewer than more—3 profound models are far better than 10 shallow principles
- Recording format: record each model—name, one-sentence description, source evidence (≥2 scenarios), application method, limitations
2.2 Decision Heuristic Extraction (5-10 items)
= The quick rules this person uses when making judgments. Can be expressed as "if X, then Y," supported by specific cases.
2.3 Expression DNA Analysis
| Dimension | Extracted Content |
|---|---|
| Sentence Pattern Preference | Long sentences/short sentences, questions/statements, density of analogies |
| Vocabulary Features | High-frequency words, exclusive terminology, forbidden words |
| Sense of Rhythm | Conclusion first or buildup first, transition style |
| Humor Style | Satire/self-deprecation/absurdity/dry humor/no humor |
| Certainty Expression | "I'm not sure" type or "obviously" type |
| Citation Habits | Whom they like to cite, what types they cite |
2.4 Values and Anti-patterns
- Values: 3-5 core values ranked
- Anti-patterns: Behaviors/ways of thinking this person explicitly opposes
- Contradictions and Tensions: Internal conflicts between values (the source of depth)
2.5 Intellectual Lineage
Who influenced this person → whom they influenced → their position on the intellectual map
2.6 Boundaries of Honesty
Limitations that must be explicitly stated:
- Cannot predict reactions to entirely new problems
- Cannot replace this person's creativity and intuition
- There may be a gap between public expression and true thoughts
- Information is current only up to the research time point
Phase 2.5: Extraction Confirmation Checkpoint
After Phase 2 extraction is complete, pause and present the extraction summary to the user for confirmation:
提炼结果摘要:
- 心智模型:N个(列出名称)
- 决策启发式:N条
- 表达DNA:[3个关键特征]
- 核心张力:N对
- 诚实边界:N条
User confirms OK → proceed to Phase 3 construction. User thinks a certain model is wrong or missing → return to Phase 2 to adjust before continuing.
The significance of this checkpoint: extraction is the most subjective step; confirming before construction avoids discovering the direction is wrong only after writing 400 lines of SKILL.md.
Phase 3: Skill Construction
Assemble the Phase 2 extraction results into a runnable SKILL.md.
Step 1: Read the Template
Read references/skill-template.md to obtain the standard structure. The template defines the complete skeleton of the target Skill: frontmatter, role-playing rules, identity card, mental models, decision heuristics, expression DNA, timeline, values, intellectual lineage, boundaries of honesty, research sources.
Step 2: Fill in Content
Following the template structure, fill the Phase 2 extraction results into each section:
| Template Section | Filling Source |
|---|---|
| frontmatter description | Number of sources + number of models + trigger words |
| Role-playing Rules | Use the template default rules directly; no changes needed |
| Answer Workflow (Agentic Protocol) | Automatically derived from mental models; see the generation guidelines below for details |
| Identity Card | Timeline (06) + Works (01) → write a 50-word self-introduction in this person's tone |
| Mental Models | Phase 2.1 extraction results, each containing name/evidence/application/limitations |
| Decision Heuristics | Phase 2.2 extraction results, each containing scenario + case |
| Expression DNA | Phase 2.3 analysis results → converted into style rules for role-playing |
| Timeline | Agent 6 research results, condensed into a table of key milestones |
| Values and Anti-patterns | Phase 2.4 Results |
| Intellectual Lineage | Phase 2.5 Results |
| Honesty Boundaries | Phase 2.6 Results + Research Timeline |
| Research Sources | Aggregated citations from the 6 Agents, divided into primary/secondary |
Answer Workflow (Agentic Protocol) Generation Guidelines
Why this section is needed: It makes the figure not just "sound like" the person, but also "act like" them. Without this section, the character Skill will fabricate from training data when encountering questions that require facts, instead of doing homework first and then speaking like a real person. This is the key to upgrading a character Skill from "parroting" to a "reliable thinking advisor."
Position: Place it after "Role-Playing Rules" and before "Example Dialogue."
Generation Rules:
The generated Agentic Protocol must include the following 3 Steps, and the research dimensions in Step 2 must beautomatically derived from the distilled mental models, not from a fixed template:
## 回答工作流(Agentic Protocol)
Method for deriving Step 2 research dimensions:
From the distilled mental models, infer what this person focuses on most when analyzing problems, and convert it into specific search dimensions. For example:
| Figure | Core Mental Models | → Derived Research Dimensions |
|---|---|---|
| Munger | Multiple mental models, inversion, incentive mechanisms | → Look at moats, look at management incentive structures, look at the biggest risks (inversion), look at historical analogies |
| Feynman | First principles, suspicion of authority | → Look at basic physics/mathematical constraints, look at logical loopholes in official claims, look at experimental data |
| Taleb | Antifragility, tail risk, the hubris of knowledge | → Look at extreme scenarios, look at who bears tail risk, look at the historical track record of expert predictions |
| MrBeast | Attention engineering, testing and iteration | → Look at competitor data (views/interactions), look at A/B testing space for titles/thumbnails, look at audience profiles |
Key constraints:
- Research dimensions must come from the mental models and cannot be generic "search for relevant information"
- Each dimension must have specific search guidance (what to search, what data to look at), not just abstract descriptions
- Group by question type (e.g., Munger divides into "looking at companies," "looking at people," "looking at events") so that Skill users can quickly locate them
Step 3: Quality Self-Check
After construction is complete, read references/extraction-framework.md the "Quality Self-Check Checklist" at the end, and check item by item. Mark any items that do not pass, and return to the corresponding Phase to fix them.
Step 4: Output
Write the completed SKILL.md to .claude/skills/[person-name]-perspective/SKILL.md。
Phase 4: Quality Validation
After generating the Skill, use a sub-agent to run 3 tests (independent of the main agent to avoid self-evaluation bias):
4.1 Known Tests (Sanity Check)
Choose 3 issues this person has publicly commented on,spawn a sub-agent carrying the new Skill to answer, and compare with the actual positions.
- Direction consistent → model effective
- Deviation → backtrack and adjust mental model weights
4.2 Edge Case Testing
Choose 1 related question that this person has not publicly discussed, and infer using the Skill.
- Expected result: "Based on inferences from models X and Y, possibly... but uncertain"
- Should not be categorical
4.3 Voice Check
Use the Skill to write a 100-word analysis and judge:
- Does it have this person's expressive characteristics?
- Is it not generic AI-flavored chicken soup?
- Is it not a patchwork of original quotes?
4.4 Pass Criteria
| Check Item | Pass Criteria | Fail Signal |
|---|---|---|
| Number of mental models | 3-7, each with source evidence | <3 or >10 |
| Limitations of each model | Clearly state failure conditions | Only write advantages |
| Expressive DNA recognizability | Can recognize who it is after reading 100 words | Looks like generic ChatGPT |
| Honest boundaries | At least 3 specific limitations | Only "cannot replace the person themselves" |
| Internal tensions | At least 2 pairs of contradictions | Viewpoints highly consistent (too fake) |
| Proportion of first-hand sources | >50% | Mainly relies on second-hand paraphrasing |
Verification passed → deliver. Not passed → mark weak links, return to Phase 2 for iteration. Iteration limit: Phase 2→4 can loop at most 2 times. If there are still failing items after 2 rounds, mark the weak dimensions in the honest boundaries and deliver the current best version rather than polishing endlessly.
Only count as complete after showing the verification results to the user for confirmation.
Phase 5: Dual-Agent Refinement (standard post-process)
After Phase 4 verification passes, automatically start dual-agent refinement to further improve the Skill's operability:
Start two Agents in parallel:
Agent A (auto-skill-optimizer perspective):
- Perform an 8-dimension structural evaluation of SKILL.md (workflow clarity, boundary conditions, checkpoint design, instruction specificity, etc.)
- Dry-run 3 typical test prompts and evaluate effectiveness dimensions
- Output: specific improvement suggestions for the weakest 2 dimensions (must include revised text examples)
Agent B (skill-creator perspective):
- Review whether the "activation trigger conditions" cover real usage scenarios
- Review the operability of the "role-playing rules" (whether there is issue routing, frequency constraints, failure prevention)
- Identify missing key information
- Output: 2-3 specific text change suggestions (must include revised text examples)
The main Agent synthesizes the two reports, applies non-conflicting improvements, and shows a summary of changes for user confirmation.
Refinement standard: changes must make the skill "execute immediately upon activation," not just add content, but let the AI know what to do first and what to stop on after receiving the skill.
Update Existing Skill
When the user says "update XX's skill" or "XX has new developments recently":
- Read the existing SKILL.md, find "Research time: [date]" from the "Honest Boundaries" section, and note how long ago it was
- Only launch Agent 2 (latest conversations) + Agent 5 (latest decisions) + Agent 6 (timeline updates)
- Compare new information with existing content:
- New information reinforces the existing model → add cases
- New information contradicts the existing model → flag the change and update the model
- A new thinking pattern appears → consider adding a new model
- Update the "Latest Developments" section and research date in SKILL.md
- Do not rewrite the entire Skill; only update incrementally
Taste Guidelines (Quick Reference)
Review when facing difficult judgments. For specific quantitative criteria, see the Phase 4 pass criteria table.
| Principle | One sentence |
|---|---|
| Long-form > aphorisms | A 3,000-word essay reveals thought structure more than 50 tweets |
| Controversy > consensus | The most contested views reveal uniqueness best |
| Change > constancy | Where someone changed their stance is more informative than what they consistently held |
Things never to do
- Fabricate things this person never said
- Package generic truisms as this person's "unique insights"
- Ignore negative reviews and controversies
- Force generation when information is insufficient
Special scenarios
Living people vs historical figures
- Living people: pay attention to timeliness, mark the cutoff date, recommend regular updates

Topic Skill vs Person Skill
When the input is not a person's name but a topic (such as "value investing", "product restraint", "antifragile decision-making"), the variants for each Phase are:
| Phase | Person Skill | Topic Skill variant |
|---|---|---|
| 0A | Confirm the person's name + focus direction | Confirm the topic boundaries + target audience (is "value investing" Graham-style or all schools?) |
| 0.5 | [person]-perspective/ |
[topic]-framework/, with the same directory structure as |
| 1 | 6 Agents around one person | First search for 3-5 core people/schools on the topic, then assign Agents by person (1-2 Agents each rather than 6) |
| 2.1 | Extract one person's mental models | Extractdomain consensus framework(what all schools agree on) + each school's disagreements(A says X, B says Y) |
| 2.3 | Simulate one person's expression | Do not simulate a specific person's tone; use neutral but professional expression |
| 2.4 | One person's internal contradictions | Fundamental disagreements between schools (such as the philosophical difference between value investing vs growth investing) |
| 3 | Use skill-template.md | Adjust the template: remove role-play rules and identity card, replace with "Framework Overview" + "School Comparison" |
| 4 | Compare with this person's known positions | Compare with classic cases recognized in the field |
Chinese figures vs Western figures
- Chinese figures: Bilibili original videos/speeches, Xiaoyuzhou podcasts, authoritative media interviews (36Kr/LatePost/Caixin/GeekPark), their own works/Weibo. Zhihu and WeChat official accounts are always excluded
- Western figures: Twitter, YouTube, Podcast, Amazon book reviews
Obscure figures (very little public information)
When Phase 0.5 assessment finds fewer than 10 usable sources:
- In Phase 0.5, tell the user, "There is very little public information about this person, and the quality of the generated Skill will be limited."
- Reduce the mental models to 2-3, each labeled "inferred based on limited information."
- Expand the honesty boundary section, clearly listing "which dimensions have insufficient information."
- If the user can provide first-hand materials (books, internal recordings, private messages), prioritize using them.
Distill the user themselves
When the user says, "distill myself" or "help me make a skill for myself":
- Nüwa cannot find the user's thinking framework from public channels, so the user needs to provide materials.
- Guide the user to provide: personal articles/blogs, recorded videos/podcasts, written decision memos, self-descriptions.
- The 6 Agents in Phase 1 are changed to analyze the materials provided by the user, rather than web searches.
- Pay special attention to "self-perception bias"—the user may overestimate certain traits and overlook blind spots; you can ask follow-up questions about how people around them evaluate them.
Finally
What Nüwa creates is not a person, but a mirror.
A good person Skill lets you see your own problems through another person's eyes. It is not for imitating them, but for expanding your own boundaries of thought.
