Overview
Only revise dialogue and the interactions immediately adjacent to dialogue; do not take over whole-chapter structural planning. Make each character distinct through goals, rhythm, avoidance patterns, and word choice.
Accept This Input
Prioritize compatibility with novel-orchestrator-main 's TaskEnvelope。
Minimum requirements:
task_type- Recommended to use
dialogue-passordialogue-audit
- Recommended to use
objectivescope- Specify the dialogue excerpt, scene, or chapter range
context_bundle- Include at least the original dialogue, speaker list, character states, necessary context, and style constraints
constraints- State plot facts, information reveals, and length requirements that cannot be changed
expected_outputs- State whether you want a full rewrite, a problem list, or multiple dialogue versions
Edit for Voice, Not Noise
Prioritize checking these issues:
- Whether different characters speak too similarly
- Whether lines state the subtext outright
- Whether characters explain too much when unnecessary
- Whether the conversation drives conflict or relationship change
- Whether silence, interruption, and topic shifts are used
Character differentiation does not rely on piling up verbal tics. Prioritize distinguishing voices through sentence length, rhythm, information selection, avoidance patterns, and attack patterns.
Work in This Order
- Identify the speaker's immediate goal and defensive stance
- Mark blunt exposition and repeated information
- Compress lines without changing facts
- Strengthen subtext, interruptions, and reactions
- Mark structural issues that still need upstream fixing
Return Structured Output
Return at least:
statusartifacts- For example
dialogue_revision、line_alternatives、voice_notes
- For example
diagnostics- Mark issues such as voice bleed, excessive exposition, and insufficient relationship progression
recommendations- If the root cause is an unclear scene goal, explicitly recommend falling back to
novel-scene-dramatizerornovel-plot-architect
- If the root cause is an unclear scene goal, explicitly recommend falling back to
proposed_writebacks- Usually empty
Refuse Scope Creep
Do not rewrite core plot without authorization. Do not erase differences in character identity for the sake of "more literary flair." Do not misdiagnose dialogue problems as purely stylistic problems; if the root cause is a missing goal, state it clearly.
