Features
- Scrape https://github.com/trending today's top 5 trending projects
- Fetch the README of each project
- Generate a Chinese summary including what the project is, the problem it solves, the tech stack, and the number of stars
- Send the summary via a WeCom bot
Script
1. Scrape and save
python fetch_trending.py --output trending_top5.json
2. Generate the summary and send it
python send_wecom_summary.py --input trending_top5.json

- Optional environment variable
GITHUB_TOKEN used to increase the GitHub API quota
- Optional environment variable
WEIXIN_WEBHOOK overrides the default WeCom bot URL
