Inputs
- One or more WPS study notes
- Optional topic scope or exam scope
- Optional number of cards, difficulty focus, or review preferences
Output
A structured WPS-ready flashcard deck, containing active recall cards and lightweight review prompts.
What this skill should produce
The goal is not mechanical sentence extraction, but to truly turn the notes into a card set that can be used for review.
It is recommended to include these parts:
definition cardsdistinction cardsexample cardsapplication cardseasy-to-confuse cardsreview order
Use review timing as lightweight review hints, not a full spaced-repetition schedule.
WPS-first rules
- Try to label the source note title or original chapter for easy reference back.
- The front of the card should be short, clear, and answerable from memory.
- Cards that are easily confused should be marked separately and reviewed first.
Quality rules
- Prioritize extracting four types of high-value cards: definitions, distinctions, examples, and applications.
- A lightweight review sequence can suggest today / 3 days / 7 days, but do not pretend this is a complete scheduling system.
- If the original notes are incomplete, explain that the card coverage is limited.
Do not use when
- The user wants an explanation script, not recall cards
- The original notes are too fragmented to reliably generate cards
- What the user really needs is a diagnostic quiz, not flashcards
