Follow the shared workflow in ../wps-learning-workflow.md.
Inputs
- A fairly long set of class notes, a verbatim transcript, or study records
- Optional topic, course name, or exam scope
- Optional review goal, such as quick pre-exam review, catching up, or checking key points
Output
A structured WPS-ready key point extraction page that clearly separates must-review content from background content.
What this skill should produce
The goal is not to make an ordinary summary, but to extract "the parts most worth reviewing."
It is recommended to include these parts:
must rememberdefinitions / formulas / principlesteacher emphasislikely forget pointsone-minute recap10-minute review list
WPS-first rules
- Key points should preferably be expressed as short bullet items, not written as long paragraph summaries.
- The last part should ideally be directly usable for quick pre-exam review.
- If the original notes already have a clear structure, do not flatten all levels just to compress them.
Quality rules
- Give higher priority to content that appears repeatedly, is emphasized, is easy to confuse, or is easy to forget.
- Examples that demonstrate rules are more worth keeping than pure definitions.
- If a certain part is only background supplementation, clearly tell the user that it is "just for understanding."
Do not use when
- The user needs a complete structured main note
- The original content itself is already very short and focused
- The user really wants to directly generate flashcards rather than first extract key points
