This skill runs automatically in the background and does not require the user to actively invoke it.
Monitoring Scope
Character Consistency
- Physical Traits: eye color, height, age, scars, etc.
- Personality Traits: behavior matches the established character personality
- Knowledge State: characters only know information they should know
- Character Arc: changes are consistent with the logic of character development
World Rules
- Power System: magic/technology/martial arts and other powers are used consistently
- Geographical Setting: distances and locations remain stable
- Social Rules: culture and customs do not contradict each other
- Physical Laws: established rules do not change randomly
Timeline Logic
- Event Order: A logically occurs before B
- Passage of Time: characters age/grow appropriately
- Simultaneous Events: multi-perspective timelines align
- Historical Consistency: references to the past remain consistent
How It Works
Passive Monitoring: when you write or discuss the story, I automatically cross-reference:

Alert Format
When a potential inconsistency is detected, you will be alerted like this:

Severity Levels

Configure Strictness
Strict Mode (default for non-fantasy works)
- Flag all contradictions
- Enforce real-world physical rules
- The timeline must be completely plausible
Flexible Mode (recommended for fantasy/science fiction)
- Allow "rule of cool" exceptions
- Magic/technology can bend reality
- Allow artistic license, but will notify
Minimal Mode
- Flag only serious contradictions
- Focus on character and major plot points
- Let small inconsistencies pass
Common false positive handling
Sometimes content that is actually correct gets flagged:
Intentional contradictions
Example: A character lies about their eye color
Fix: Add a note in the character profile:

- Update character profiles when traits change
- Document world rules clearly
- Maintain a timeline file
Handle alerts promptly
Don't let consistency issues accumulate:
- Fix serious alerts immediately
- Review warnings at the end of a writing session
- Batch cautions during the revision phase
