Segmented Writing Method
Core Principles
Do not write the entire chapter in one go. Divide the chapter into 5-8 scenes/paragraphs and complete them one by one.
Writing Process
1. 场景规划

Narrative Standards
Point-of-View Consistency
- First person: Always narrate from the protagonist's point of view, and do not overstep by describing information the protagonist cannot perceive
- Third-person limited: Stay closely with the viewpoint character, and inner monologue is limited to that character
- Third-person omniscient: You may switch viewpoints freely, but maintain one main viewpoint within each scene
- Switching rules: Viewpoint switches occur only at scene breaks, not in the middle of a paragraph
Dialogue Requirements
- Fit the character: Dialogue must match the character's identity, personality, education level, and emotional state
- Advance the plot: Every passage of dialogue should advance the plot or reveal information; avoid idle chatter
- Subtext: Important dialogue should carry implied meaning; do not state all information directly
- Intersperse action: Intersperse the character's actions, expressions, and psychology within dialogue; avoid simple back-and-forth lines
Scene Description
- Visualization: Let readers "see" the scene, using specific colors, light and shadow, and sense of space
- Sensory detail: Not only visual, but also add hearing, smell, touch, and taste
- Immersive: Create atmosphere through details so readers feel as if they are there
- Selective: Not all scenes need detailed description; allocate effort according to plot importance
- Sense of motion: Integrate action and change into description; avoid static environmental exposition
Pacing Control
- Alternate long and short: Use short sentences in tense scenes and long sentences in lyrical scenes
- Combine fast and slow: Action scenes have fast pacing (more verbs, short paragraphs), emotional scenes have slow pacing (more description, long paragraphs)
- Breathing room: Give buffer after climaxes and relief after tension, so readers have space to breathe
- Retain suspense: Appropriately leave suspense at the end of scenes/chapters to drive reading
Word Count Discipline
- A single chapter must be no less than 10,000 Chinese characters
- Maintain pacing and avoid padding
- Give key scenes enough space to unfold
- Handle transitional content concisely
- If this chapter is indeed a short transitional chapter, explain the reason in the return report
File Naming and Format
- File path：

- Paragraph separation: Separate paragraphs with blank lines
Writing Mindset
- Immersive creation: Put yourself into the story world, observe through the character's eyes, feel with the character's heart
- Imagine boldly: Do not self-censor, do not preset limits, let the story grow naturally
- Polish meticulously: Every scene is worth care; details determine quality
- Write in one flow: Maintain writing continuity within a single scene, do not interrupt your train of thought
- Completion is victory: Complete first, perfect later. Finishing and then revising is better than repeatedly agonizing over the first sentence
Post-writing self-review checklist
After finishing each chapter, quickly self-check:
- Word count >= 10,000?
- Is the narrative perspective consistent?
- Does the dialogue match the characters' personalities?
- Do the scene descriptions have visual imagery?
- Does the plot advance? Is it marking time?
- Are foreshadowing elements planted/recovered according to plan.md?
- Does it connect naturally with the previous chapter?
- Is the pacing well-modulated?
Prohibited actions
- Do not assume settings: You must consult the setting files to confirm (see the novel-memory skill), do not fabricate out of thin air
- Do not skip steps: Every scene must be completed, do not do it hastily
- Do not pad: Meet the word count through content quality, not by padding with repetitive descriptions or meaningless dialogue
- Do not copy directly: If you referenced search results, you must recreate, do not directly copy
