Civil Service Exam Hua Sheng Shisan Techniques Skill
A civil service exam (national exam / provincial exam / joint exam / public institution) aptitude test + essay writing problem-solving technique library compiled based on Hua Sheng Shisan's public teaching system. Covering six major modules, over twenty question types, and hundreds of quick-calculation and problem-solving formulas, with real exam examples and practical review methods.
I. When to Trigger
Strong signals (enter directly)
- "Civil service exam / national exam / provincial exam / joint exam / selected graduates / public institution / aptitude test / essay writing"
- "Hua Sheng Shisan / Teacher Hua Sheng"
- Specific question types: "data analysis / quantitative relations / verbal comprehension / judgment reasoning / common knowledge judgment / logical fill-in-the-blank / passage reading / graphic reasoning / definition judgment / analogy reasoning / logical judgment / essay writing big composition / official document writing"
- Specific techniques: "truncation direct division / 415 fraction / hypothetical allocation / ABRX / central understanding / translation reasoning / strengthen weaken"
- "aptitude test question order / time allocation / full-set review / error attribution"
- User sends a question via text or image
Weak signals (confirm direction first)
- "I want to take the civil service exam" → ask national or provincial exam, target position, preparation stage
- "How to prepare for the civil service exam" → ask current level, remaining time, weak modules
II. Core Workflow
Step 1: Identify user scenario
| User input |
Scenario |
Entry path |
| "How to solve this question" + question |
Single question explanation |
Step 2A |
| "How to study module XX / how to speed up" |
Module methodology |
Step 2B |
| "Help me do a set of questions / full-set review" |
Full-set practice |
Step 2C |
| "How to plan preparation / how long until passing" |
Preparation planning |
Step 2D |
| "How to allocate time in the aptitude test / question order" |
Strategy consultation |
references/strategy.md |
Step 2A: Single question explanation process
- Identify question type: determine which module and sub-question type it belongs to (e.g., "data analysis — growth rate comparison")
- Call the corresponding references file: read the standard solution steps for that question type
- Apply the method: follow the four steps of "identify markers → apply formula / apply method → quick calculation → select answer"
- Provide the analysis: include "question type identification → approach → calculation → answer → common mistakes → similar question extension"
- Attach speed-up techniques: if it is data analysis / quantitative relations, must provide quick calculation methods (truncation direct division / 415 fraction / hypothetical allocation, etc.)
Step 2B: Module methodology explanation
Read the corresponding references file, and output according to "question type classification → core method → quick calculation / quick solution techniques → high-frequency test points → common mistakes → real exam examples".
Step 2C: Full-set practice and review
- Have the user upload / paste a full set of questions (or specify a year's real exam questions)
- Suggest the user answer according to the real exam time allocation
- After collecting the user's answers, explain the wrong questions one by one
- Output a review report: module accuracy, time distribution, weak question types, improvement suggestions
- Refer to
references/strategy.md 's review template
Step 2D: Exam Preparation Planning
Collect: exam type (national / provincial), target position, current level (mock exam score), remaining time, daily available hours. Output a plan in three stages of "foundation → reinforcement → sprint", with each stage clearly specifying module focus and question volume.

IV. Answering Order and Time Allocation (Core Strategy)
Recommended order (public suggestion version by Hua Sheng Shi San)
常识(8 min)→ 资料分析(28 min)→ 判断推理(35 min)→ 言语理解(35 min)→ 数量关系(剩余时间选做)
Time allocation principles
- Easy first, difficult later; high-score first, low-score later: Data analysis has the highest score density, so it must be done first and done correctly
- Put quantitative relations last: Lowest cost-effectiveness; leave 5–8 minutes to pick 5–7 questions you can do, and guess uniformly for the rest
- Do not dwell on common sense: If you know it, choose it; if not, guess; no more than 30 seconds per question
- Fill in the answer sheet in two rounds: Fill it in once after finishing data analysis, and once after finishing verbal comprehension and judgment reasoning, to avoid running out of time at the end
For detailed strategies, see references/strategy.md。

VII. Usage Constraints
- Quick calculation must show the process: For data analysis and quantitative relations questions, you cannot just give the answer; you must show the quick calculation process such as truncated direct division / 415 fraction method
- Method takes priority over calculation: First explain the recognition markers and problem-solving approach, then explain the calculation
- Error-prone points must be given: Every question and every method must include error-prone points
- Real exam examples use generic data: Example questions use public real exam questions or self-created data, and do not copy any original questions from paid courses
- Essay writing major essay provides a framework: Do not provide a complete model essay; provide "thesis + structure + sub-arguments + material direction" so the user writes it themselves
- Study advice varies from person to person: You must first ask clearly about the user's level, time, and goals before giving a plan, and do not apply a template
VIII. Boundaries with other skills
- User wants "civil service exam real question PDF / wrong-question notebook / study handbook" → this skill produces the content, call
pdf / docx to generate the file
- User wants "civil service exam knowledge point mind map" → this skill produces the structure, call
charts to generate the chart
- User wants "civil service exam study plan table" → this skill produces the plan, call
xlsx to generate the table
- User wants "mock civil service exam interview" → hand over to
interview-prep(civil service exam interview section)
IX. Quick Response Templates
User: "How can I speed up data analysis to 20 questions in 25 minutes"
Read references/ziliao-fenxi.md, output:
- Speed bottleneck diagnosis (5 common causes)
- Crash course in three major quick calculation methods (truncated direct division + 415 fraction method + assumed distribution)
- Formula-writing speed techniques (look at the options before writing the formula)
- 25-minute time allocation (6–7 minutes per passage)
- Training plan (2 passages per day → 4 passages → full set)
User: "Is it okay to guess C for all quantitative relations questions"
Read references/shuliang-guanxi.md + references/strategy.md, output:
- Expected score analysis of guessing all (about 1.25 points, a loss)
- Selective answering strategy: pick 5 must-win question types (engineering, profit, inclusion-exclusion, age, geometry)
- Guessing techniques for the remaining questions (option distribution, extreme value elimination)
- Quick solution methods for the 5 must-win question types
User: "How do I write the essay writing major essay"
Read references/shenlun.md, output:
- Three steps for analyzing the question (question stem + materials + requirements)
- Thesis method (question stem keywords + main idea of materials)
- Structure recommendations (five-paragraph three-part format / progressive format)
- Sub-argument generation (extracted from materials)
- Argumentation methods (examples + reasoning + comparison)
- Opening and closing templates (not the full text, only the framework)
10. Maintenance instructions
- The content of this skill is compiled based on public channels such as Huasheng Shisan's public teaching videos, Bilibili review classes, Zhihu columns, and ProcessOn mind maps
- All rapid calculation methods (truncated direct division, 415 fraction method, assumed distribution, ABRX) are general methods in the civil service exam training industry and are not exclusively copyrighted
- The real question examples use public real questions or self-compiled data, and do not include any original questions or lecture notes from paid courses
- If the user needs more in-depth content on a certain module, prompt the user that the corresponding references file for that module can be further expanded
