Send $ARGUMENTS as plate-bot. A message only the team can read proceeds without asking, as AGENTS.md's Team rules say, so draft it, send it and report it.

  1. Pick the recipient. It is a GitHub login on team in .agents/pstack.json, or dev to ping every teammate. A pasted Discord message goes back to its author. When the person is not on team, stop and say so, because the send refuses them.
  2. Draft the text in the voice of .agents/pstack/rules/writing.md, as one post for a teammate with no summary block and no link list. The reader is a teammate who works through Claude.
    • Lead with the result, then the one thing the reader does.
    • Name an issue or PR as a Markdown link with its number and title, such as [#132 <title>](<url>). Read the title with gh issue view <N> --repo <owner/repo> --json title -q .title. When a comment asks the reader to act, such as a retest request, link that comment's URL.
    • Leave out what the reader already knows, such as "on beta" in a retest notice, because every retest runs on beta.
    • When the reader must act, name the skill command that does it, such as /triage retest plate-private#132. Say what to ask Claude for only when no skill does it. A shell command never goes in the text, and the send refuses one in backticks.
  3. Write the text to a file in the run directory or the scratchpad. Run node .agents/pstack/writing-check.mjs <file> and fix each line it prints.
  4. Send it with node tooling/scripts/notify.mjs send --to <login or dev> "$(cat <file>)". Write it as $(cat <file>) even when the text looks plain, because an issue title can hold a backtick or $. Never use pnpm notify send, because pnpm hands its arguments to sh inside double quotes, so each backticked span or $ in the text runs as a command. The send links each commit hash in the text to that commit on GitHub. It refuses a hash that neither this checkout nor its companion has pushed, so write the link yourself for a commit of another repository. A post holds at most Discord's 2,000 characters, so split a longer text into several files and send each one.
  5. Tell the owner who got it and the exact text. When the command prints skipped:, say so instead, because the same text went to that person in the last 24 hours.
