About this skill

Hearing Scheduling and Procedural Deadline Monitoring

Track court scheduling, evidence submission deadlines, appeal deadlines, and service deadlines to avoid procedural risks.

Trigger Conditions

Including but not limited to the following situations:

  • Mentioning keywords such as "appeal deadline", "evidence submission deadline", "service deadline", "preservation deadline", etc.
  • When adding, modifying, or inquiring about case deadlines

If the user requests delivery of __a procedural deadline monitoring list, evidence submission deadline list, service deadline list, appeal deadline list, or preservation deadline list__, also use this skill.

Exclusion Situations

__Do not use__ this skill to handle the following needs:

  • Adding, removing, modifying, or managing the key time and location list of a certain case
  • Managing or inquiring about the working hours of lawyers, lawyer assistants, or interns
  • General programming tasks unrelated to case deadline scheduling
Skill Title

Track statutory deadlines such as court scheduling, evidence submission deadlines, appeal deadlines, service deadlines, and preservation deadlines to avoid procedural risks

Capabilities

  • When the user adds, deletes, or modifies the starting time points of statutory deadlines, such as the filing time, summons service time, judgment service time, preservation time, etc., calculate the determinable statutory deadline nodes in accordance with the Civil Procedure Law and relevant judicial interpretations
  • For each case, when the user has not completely entered all statutory deadline starting points, proactively ask the user whether relevant information has been omitted
  • Remind judges, prosecutors, arbitrators, lawyers, etc. of the litigation deadline of a certain case 5 days and 3 days before the statutory deadline, respectively
  • When the user inquires about the deadlines of a certain case, provide the user with a case deadline list
  • When the user inquires about a certain deadline, such as the evidence submission deadline, provide the user with an evidence submission deadline list, including all cases for which evidence needs to be submitted and the corresponding deadlines
  • When the user inquires about upcoming deadlines, provide the user with a list of legal deadlines up to 30 days later, including the due dates of all deadlines during this period, the corresponding cases, and the corresponding work.

How to Use

When adding or modifying a case whose deadlines need to be monitored:

  1. Create a new case name, or select an existing case by case name
  2. Enter the known time starting points, such as the time the prosecution materials were served on the court, filing time, time of service of the judgment document, hearing time, preservation time, etc.
  3. In accordance with the Civil Procedure Law and relevant judicial interpretations, calculate the determinable statutory deadline nodes
  4. Show the calculation results to the user and ask whether there are any dates that need to be adjusted
  5. Output the procedural monitoring deadline list confirmed by the user.

When the user needs to retrieve a certain legal deadline list:

  1. Retrieve all cases involving this type of legal deadline
  2. Using the current date as the reference point, filter only cases whose statutory deadline due date is after today
  3. Check whether there are cases that lack the start date of this legal deadline and require the user to supplement it
  4. Output the cases filtered in steps 2 and 3 together in a certain legal deadline list.

When the user needs a list of upcoming legal deadlines:

  1. Ask the user to filter the deadline range
  2. If the user provides a specific deadline (such as 15 days) or date (such as March 2), then use the current date as the reference point and filter the legal deadline schedule up to the deadline or date specified by the user
  3. If the user does not provide a specific deadline, then use the current date as the reference point and filter the legal deadline schedule up to 30 days later

When reminding the user that a certain legal deadline for a certain case is about to arrive

  1. Determine which case the user is currently discussing, and retrieve the procedure monitoring deadline schedule for that case
  2. Check whether the current date has reached 5 days before or 3 days before the legal deadline
  3. Output the reminder information to the user, in the format “Attention: Case xx will reach the xx deadline in 5 days (xx year xx month xx day).”

Example Usage

Scenario: Add a legal deadline start date to a certain case

User input: “That debt dispute case of Company A, received the first-instance judgment on March 2”

SKILL processing flow:

  1. Case name matching: Company A v. Company B bond dispute case
  2. Identify the task: add a legal deadline end date to an existing case
  3. Search the relevant provisions of the Civil Procedure Law and related judicial interpretations, and retrieved Article 171 of the Civil Procedure Law
  4. Ask the user to confirm whether “该案上诉期限将于3月17日届满“ is incorrect
  5. After the user confirms it is correct, add the statutory deadline expiration date to the case's procedural monitoring deadline list, and show the user the updated procedural monitoring deadline list

Scripts (if applicable)

  • script1.py: Description
  • script2.py: Description

Best Practices

  1. If the user mentions multiple case names and deadlines at once, first confirm the association between case names and dates, and sort them out case by case in order
  2. If multiple relevant legal provisions are retrieved and the statutory deadline cannot be confirmed, ask the user for supplementary information (such as whether it is ordinary first-instance procedure, summary procedure, or small claims procedure)
  3. When the user adds a non-statutory deadline, it is necessary to confirm with the user twice before writing it into the list
  4. When the user creates a case, proactively ask the user whether they need to set an additional reminder 5 days before the statutory deadline expiration date (such as 10 days or 15 days).

Limitations

  1. This skill does not handle the sorting out of key locations of the case
  2. This skill does not handle the assignment of work tasks
  3. This skill does not handle work expense management
