Use ViralQuery to answer: “Get the top viral videos for this mobile app.”
Workflow
- Use the ViralQuery MCP tools. If unavailable, tell the user how to connect
https://viralquery.com/mcp; never ask them to paste a key into chat. - Prefer an Apple App Store link. Extract its numeric ID, call
listApps, and use an exact matchingidorappStoreUrl. For a name-only request, use an unambiguous listed match; never invent an ID. - If listed, call
getAppVideosonce with that exact ID. - If missing and the user supplied an App Store link, call
requestAppwith the full link. This is Max-only and uses the account's bounded new-app allowance. - For
queuedorjoined, callgetAppRequestwith the returned request ID. Poll at a bounded interval while practical. Whenready, callgetAppVideoswith the returned app ID. If work is still running, report the status and request ID instead of claiming completion. - Cite each returned source URL and video ID. Report only the data that ViralQuery returns; clearly label any synthesis as your inference.
- Filter or sort returned fields locally when needed. Return a focused answer for the requested app rather than broad, unrelated inspiration.
The MCP exposes listApps, getAppVideos, requestApp, and getAppRequest. Do not look for
catalog writes, ingestion controls, or maintenance tools.
Read references/operations.md when exact tool inputs or protected
connection setup matter.
