Core Knowledge

Workspace Concept

A workspace is the resource isolation unit in Testany, used to:

• Organize the team's testing resources
• Control access permissions
• Isolate different projects/teams

Role Permissions

Common Operations

View my workspaces

testany_get_my_workspaces
testany_get_my_workspaces_with_roles  # 包含角色信息

Add members

testany_list_users → 查找用户
testany_assign_user_to_workspace → 添加单个用户
testany_assign_users_to_workspace → 批量添加

Change member roles

testany_find_workspace_users → 查找工作空间下所有用户
testany_assign_user_to_workspace → 修改单个用户

Get workspace member list

testany_find_workspace_users → 查找工作空间下现有成员

Remove members

testany_remove_user_from_workspace → 从工作空间移除用户

Apply for a new workspace

testany_check_workspace_key → 检查 workspace key 是否可用
testany_request_workspace → 提交申请

Note: Before applying, you must first call testany_check_workspace_key to check whether the key is already taken.

Workflow

Follow Delivery and Read-Back Verification, no need to repeatedly confirm known objectives; only operate on authorized workspaces/members/roles.

1. Confirm objective: Which workspace to operate on?
2. Get current state：testany_get_my_workspaces_with_roles
3. Execute operation: add members, change roles, etc.
4. Read-back verification: After member/role changes, use testany_find_workspace_users to verify the relevant members; after applying, verify using the actually available application status or workspace list. An application being accepted/pending approval does not equal approved and available; a successful member write request does not equal the role having taken effect
5. Preserve partial results: When read-back is missing or inconsistent, return the real key, submitted actions, and limitations; do not automatically retry, re-apply, add other members, or roll back deletions

Return Format

After the task is completed, report to the user:

• Operation result
• Affected members/workspaces
• Current permission status
