Workflow
Step 1: Clarify the information
Confirm:Era/worldview(ancient style/modern/western fantasy/cultivation) + character identity and personality + gender + how many to create. If anything is missing, ask.

Step 2: Name using the 5-step method
- Set the era style → 2. Choose the surname (avoid overused web fiction surnames like Ye/Xiao/Lin/Chu/Su, pick ones with texture from the surname pool) → 3. Choose characters that reflect personality/destiny (don't pile up rare characters) → 4. Match sound and rhyme (easy to say, with tonal ups and downs) → 5. Check for duplicates and ambiguity.
Step 3: Give candidates in batches + explanations
Give 4-6 candidates for each character,annotate each: why it fits this character, where the memorable point is.
- For villains, prioritize the "elegant and calm" type (more chilling than the stereotyped "Black X King").
- A group of supporting character names shouldbe differentiated from one another(don't all be two characters, don't all have the same tone).
Step 4: Self-check
Go through the "naming self-check list" (name-library.md): avoid overused surnames, don't collide with well-known characters, no rare characters, fit the era, supporting characters can be distinguished.

Principles
- Avoid web fiction assembly-line surnames: Ye/Xiao/Lin/Chu/Su (female lead)/Murong—they look AI at a glance.
- Crisp > soft and sticky: for female leads, using "Ye/Zhao/Ci/Tang" stands out more and collides less than "Qinghuan/Wan'er."
- Villains must be chilling: an elegant and calm villain name is the most high-class.
- Don't pile up rare characters: names readers can't type or remember are a big taboo.
- Fit the era: elders only feel real with period-appropriate names; ancient people shouldn't have modern names.
