Topic Selection and Premise (idea)

Help authors turn "I want to write a novel" into "a concrete, writable, marketable topic."

When to Use

• The user says "I want to write a novel but don't know what to write"
• The user has a vague idea and needs it refined into a hit topic
• The user wants a one-sentence selling point / tags / golden three chapters plan
• Project setup before starting a new book

Workflow

Step 1: The Four Positioning Questions

First clarify (ask the user whichever is missing, or give recommendations):

1. Channel: Male-oriented / female-oriented? → See references/channel-guide.md
2. Platform: Fanqie / Jinjiang / Qidian / UC / Zhihu Yanxuan / Webnovel? → See references/platform-profiles.md
3. Genre preference: What major category does the user want to write → Choose from references/genre-library.md the nine major sections (suspense/psychology/urban/system flow/fantasy and xianxia/female-oriented/historical ancient alternate world/supernatural/period rural/niche)
4. Length: Short / medium / long? → Set the signing threshold and target total word count (see references/length-standards.md, e.g., Fanqie short stories aiming for a hit target 10,000–18,000; long works first aim for ≥80,000 to enter distribution)

Can locate directly with parameters, e.g., /webnovel:idea 番茄 男频 系统都市、/webnovel:idea 晋江 女频 古言宅斗。

Step 2: Generate 3 Differentiated Topics

For each topic provide:

• One-sentence core idea(selling-point hook, can serve as promotional copy)
• Channel + genre + platform fit
• Cheat/golden finger/core setting(see references/goldfinger-types.md）
• Core gratification chain(see references/trope-library.md）
• Target reader profile
• Homogenization risk assessment(How common is this idea on the market, and how to differentiate)

Step 3: Golden Three Chapters Strategy

For the topic the user selects, design:

• Chapter 1: Opening hook (establish crisis/contrast in 3 sentences) + timing of the cheat coming online → use references/hook-library.md
• Chapter 2: Expand the conflict + first small gratification moment
• Chapter 3: First small climax + mainline suspense lands (determines the collection rate)

Step 4: Output the "Book Start Card"

Principles

• First comes the "gratification and selling point," then comes the "story"—web fiction is a product; in the premise, first think clearly about who it's sold to and where the gratification is.
• Don't speak in generalities; every topic must be concrete enough to directly write the first chapter.
• Proactively point out homogenization risks and give differentiation suggestions.

Naming Tips

The [Title Candidates] in the Book Start Cardmust include genre keywords + gratification + hook, avoiding abstract literary style/overused/AI flavor(use references/title-library.md). To specifically refine the title → use the title skill.
