Positioning:The AI first writes a "rough" draft for a person to filter and revise, not a final draft. Export to Word according to the author's formatting habits, and mark places that can be changed.
When to use
- Export the novel/chapters to Word (.docx)
- Need chapters, a table of contents, and chapter titles left-aligned
- Want the AI to "mark places that can be changed" for the author to revise themselves
- "Write a rough draft first so I can take a look, then filter and revise"
Output rules (according to the author's habits, must be followed)
- Format = Word (.docx)。
- Never overwrite the original text: name it
1.docx, and if it already exists, increment修改2、修改3… - Table of contents: inserted automatically (in Word, right-click the table of contents → Update Field to generate page numbers).
- Chapter titles "Chapter X" left-aligned(start with #, and the script automatically converts them to Heading 1 + left-aligned).
- Mark places that can be changed: in the draft, use
【修改:你的建议】to mark them—the script renders them asred highlights, making it easy for the author to locate and revise. - Word count: for short works, the total is 8000–30000;write the draft to 10000–20000, leaving the author room to "both cut and expand." For length/signing thresholds at each tier, see
references/length-standards.md(e.g., Tomato short stories ≥6000, satisfying-style 10k–18k).
Where to mark "revision" suggestions
In the draft, find fault with yourself; common places that can be changed (borrowing the eye of review/annotate/deslop):
- Pacing is too slow, setup is too long →
Opening/chapter-ending hook is weak →
- Emotion is "shouted" rather than "acted" →
Not enough satisfying points/face-slapping →
Flexible passages that can be expanded or cut →
Workflow
- First confirm: book title, channel/platform/genre,person (first person by default), target word count.
- Write the draft (call expand/hook/shuangdian/emotion, etc., follow de-AI-flavoring and first-person default), divide chapters by "# Chapter X", and insert at places that can be changed
- Save the draft as markdown, for example
书名.md。 - Run the script to generate Word:
(if a library is missing, firstpython "${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/skills/draft/build_docx.py" 书名.md --title "书名" --outdir "你的输出文件夹"pip install python-docx。) - Tell the author: the generated file name, main-text word count, and how many 【修改】suggestions there are.
Principles
- It is a draft, not a final draft: write a "rough" version, leave polishing to the author; use 【修改】to explicitly mark your judgments instead of making decisions for the author.
- Always create a new file, do not touch the original manuscript—the author's version is controlled by the author (can also be used with
memory's git snapshot). - Keep short works within 8000–30000, and stop the draft at 10000–20000 to leave room.
Other models (when ChatGPT/DeepSeek, etc. cannot run scripts)
Output directly according to the Markdown conventions above (# Chapter X + main text + [Revision: ...]), and let the author paste it into Word themselves; or download it in an environment that can generate files.
Next step
After the author finishes revising → they can then review follow up,memory archive/snapshot.
