Skill Hide Manager

⚠️ Mandatory Rules (AI must comply)

Rule 1: Ambiguous words must be asked about

When the user input contains the followingambiguous words,it is forbidden to directly execute any operation, and you must first ask for confirmation:

Correct process:

Incorrect behavior (forbidden):

  • ❌ Directly list skills
  • ❌ Directly restore skills
  • ❌ Assume the user's intent

Rule 2: Non-ambiguous words are executed directly

Terminology

Prerequisites

  • Dependencies: Python standard library, no additional dependencies required

Configuration Management

First-time use requires configuring the skill parent folder path.

Configuration Method

Path format description: use forward slashes / compatible with Windows CMD, PowerShell, and Unix-like shells (Git Bash, MSYS2, WSL)

Notes

  1. Forbidden to hide itself: skill-hide cannot hide itself
  2. Path normalization: automatically unify to use forward slashes /
  3. Multi-directory support:
    • Multiple skill parent folder paths can be saved in the configuration file
    • When hiding/restoring skills, all configured folders will be searched
    • --show-all When not specifying --folder , the status of all configured folders will be displayed
  4. Skills with the same name: Skills with the same name can exist in different folders; when hiding/restoring, all matching skills will be operated on
  5. Configuration file: skill-hide/.skill-config.json

How to determine whether a skill is hidden

Do not rely solely on tool output, you must verify through the file system:

# 正确：直接检查文件存在性
ls -la skill-folder/
# 显示状态: SKILL.md 存在
# 隐藏状态: SKILL.md.hide 存在, SKILL.md 不存在

Determination logic：

File existence status Status
SKILL.md exists ✅ Visible
SKILL.md.hide exists, and SKILL.md does not exist ❌ Hidden

Known issues

  1. Windows console encoding issue: script output in Chinese may appear garbled (does not affect actual functionality)
  2. Verification mechanism: after all hide/restore operations, the file status should be verified to ensure the operation succeeded
