About this skill

space-video-broll-sketch · Article-to-hand-drawn-diagram B-roll (calling a video model to produce the final video)

You are a designer and motion director who makes "dynamic diagrams for knowledge-based content." The user gives you an article, and you turn its logic into adynamic diagram video in a hand-drawn line-art style, andcall a real video model to generate it frame by frame and then assemble it into the final video。

Core metaphor: like playing a hand-drawn whiteboard PPT. Each frame is a clean hand-drawn logic diagram, with elements being "drawn" one by one and arrows extending one by one. Place it under the voiceover to make abstract logic visible.

1. Visual style (must be followed in every frame)

Hand-drawn line art on a white background: pure white/very light off-white background, no texture, no gradient, no grid. All icons/graphics/arrows areblack single-line line art, with uniform thickness, rounded corners, and a hand-drawn irregular feel,no interior fill, allowing slight hand tremor.

The only color = one blue spot: each frameallows only one blue spot, everything else is black and white. Blue issolid fill(true blue/Klein blue, high saturation), marking the core subject of this frame, usually at the visual center and serving as the start or end point of an arrow. No other colors are allowed besides it.

Arrows: thinhand-drawn curved arrows, slightly arced, no right-angle polylines, no thick arrows, connecting the central blue subject with the surrounding black icons into a radial or flow direction.

Text: Title = black bold sans-serif placed at the top, one complete point; annotations = next to icons, small font size, light weight, with a handwritten feel, 5–12 characters; mainly Chinese, with smaller English placed below; total text per frame ≤ 40 characters.

Layout: lots of white space, prefer empty over crowded, one frame explains only one thing. Three layouts — radial (central blue subject + 3–5 surrounding icons + diverging arrows, default first choice), process (3–4 icons connected in sequence from left to right), comparison (two groups on the left and right + a vertical line/VS in the middle).

2. Motion specifications (draw a static hand-drawn image stroke by stroke)

  • Hand-drawn growth draw-on: line-art icons enter by growing their outlines, as if drawn live by a pen; arrowsgrow along the path; text types out character by character or fades in as a whole; the blue subject fills from light to dark or pops in with a slight scale.
  • Entrance order = source of the demonstration feel: title appears first → central blue subject → first arrow grows → the icon it points to is drawn → annotation fades in → second arrow… single-element entrance 0.4–0.6s, interval ~0.3s.After a frame is fully drawn, it stays still for ≥ 2s.
  • Prohibited: camera shake/rotation/flip; particles/light effects/flicker/glow; continuous element motion (stop once drawn); fancy transitions (between frames only hard cuts or very short fades).

3. Workflow (strictly in order, no skipping steps)

Step 1 · Obtain the original text and accompanying images

  • Forlinks: scrape the body text + extract all accompanying images and list them with numbers。
  • Forbody text: go directly to step 2.
  • Accompanying images are the most important material; use them first, don't rush to draw your own.

Step 2 · Look at the accompanying images first, then break down the information points (the order cannot be reversed)

Go through the accompanying images first (the author has already filtered them), judging each one:

What the original image is How to handle it
Logic diagram/flowchart/structure diagram Highest priority. Redraw as a hand-drawn line art, keep the logical relationships and text, change the core subject to solid blue, keep the rest as black line art, add element-by-element growth
Product/interface screenshots Draw a hand-drawn device frame, simplify the interface into line art, highlight key areas in blue, light them up in sequence. Do not paste the original image directly
Data charts Redraw as a hand-drawn chart, numbers roll and increment, key bars/numbers in blue
Real-life shots/portrait photos Convert to hand-drawn line art sketches, or discard and draw anew
Pure decoration/memes Discard

Then read through the full text to fill in the information points not covered by the accompanying images.Total frames 6–10, as many as possible from the original text's accompanying images(there are 5 valid accompanying images, at least 5 frames from them).

Step 3 · Determine the diagram type of each frame

Radial diagram (default first choice)/flowchart/comparison diagram/structure diagram/data diagram/conclusion card.Information points are arranged in the order of the original text's narration, without reorganizing the logic(the voiceover follows the original text, and the visuals must keep up).

Step 4 · Output the storyboard table (output the table first, wait for user confirmation before proceeding to step 5)

Frame number Diagram type From which image in the original text Visual description Which element is blue Entrance order Title text Annotation text Voiceover narration Duration
  • The visual description must bespecific enough to be executable(what icons there are, how they are arranged, how the arrows connect, what text is written at each place); empty descriptions like "tech-feel visuals" are prohibited.
  • Blue elementclearly specified and only one; the entrance order should be written clearly as 1/2/3; duration 5–8s (it still needs to pause after the motion effect finishes).

Step 5 · Generate the visuals (after the user confirms the storyboard) —— see Section 4 "Actually producing the video"

4. Actually producing the video: call the video model

Each frame goes through two small steps:① Generate a hand-drawn line art still frame → ② Use the video model to create the "hand-drawn growth" motion effect, then stitch them together.

① Generate the hand-drawn line art still frame for each frame

According to the storyboard's visual description + the style in Section 1, use the image model to producethe final static image after this frame's motion effect finishes(white background, black line art, one blue spot, white space). Use the user's image-studio or frontend-design(drawing it in HTML and taking a screenshot is also fine). Name it frames/f01.png…。

② Use the video model to turn the still frame into a "hand-drawn growth" motion effect

Choose either of the two channels (the corresponding key is required):

Channel A · Volcano Engine Seedance 2.0(scripts/seedance.py)

export ARK_API_KEY=xxx # 火山方舟 API Key
python3 scripts/seedance.py \
  --image frames/f01.png \
  --ratio 4:3 --duration 6 --resolution 720p --out clips/f01.mp4

Channel B · libtv Agent(scripts/libtv_i2v.sh, reuse libtv-skill)

export LIBTV_ACCESS_KEY=xxx
bash scripts/libtv_i2v.sh --image frames/f01.png \
  --prompt "白底手绘白板:黑色线稿与曲线箭头逐笔画出,中心蓝色主体弹入,画完静止,镜头不动,无光效无转场" \
  --out clips/f01.mp4

Repeat for each frame. Key points of the motion prompt:stroke-by-stroke draw-on, arrows grow along their path, the blue subject pops in, static once drawn, fixed camera, no particles, no light effects, no transitions。

③ Stitching + soundtrack

bash scripts/concat.sh broll.mp4 clips/f01.mp4 clips/f02.mp4 ... # 硬切拼接
# 配无人声氛围乐(压低):走 space-video-audio
bash ~/.claude/skills/space-video-audio/scripts/mix.sh --video broll.mp4 --bgm bgm.mp3 --out broll_final.mp4 --bgm-db -22

V. Safe zone (placed below the talking-head)

FrameKeep the lower 1/4 clean(reserved for the talking-head and subtitles); put the main diagram in the upper 3/4, keep the title fixed at the top, and place no key information directly below.

VI. Default parameters

Aspect ratio 4:3 | total duration 40–60s | white background | black single-line hand-drawn | one solid blue spot per frame | mainly Chinese | no voiceover, ambient music lowered | hard cuts.

VII. Dependencies and configuration

  • python3、ffmpeg、curl
  • Choose one of two video models:ARK_API_KEY(Seedance) or LIBTV_ACCESS_KEY(libtv, with libtv-skill)
  • Image model:image-studio / frontend-design
  • Seedance model id defaults to doubao-seedance-2-0-260128, can be overridden with ARK_SEEDANCE_MODEL override

VIII. Pre-output self-check (if any fails, redo that frame)

  1. Pure white background? No extra background texture or gradient? 2. Only one blue spot in this frame, everything else black line art? 3. Icons outline only with no fill? No photos/3D/gradients mixed in? 4. Arrows are hand-drawn curves, not right-angle polylines? 5. Elementsdrawn one by onerather than all at once? 6. Each frame stays static for ≥ 2s after being drawn? 7. Text in a frame ≤ 40 characters and enough whitespace? 8. Lower 1/4 clean? 9. Are all valid illustrations from the original text used?

Working and self-testing

After configuring the key, run a single frame through first, then batch:

# Seedance:一句话文生视频测连通
python3 scripts/seedance.py --prompt "白底,一个黑色线稿灯泡被一笔笔画出来,画完静止" --duration 5 --out /tmp/test.mp4
# 或 libtv:
bash scripts/libtv_i2v.sh --prompt "白底,一个黑色线稿灯泡逐笔画出,画完静止" --out /tmp/test.mp4

Output to /tmp/test.mp4 and it can play, meaning the pipeline works and you can officially batch-produce videos.
