Global Content Search

One-sentence value proposition: First use Agent Reach to search content across the web, and if it cannot find anything, use the Guaikei API as a fallback, unifying Xiaohongshu, Bilibili, and extensible Douyin content search into one CLI.

1. Skill Overview

The access order for this Skill is:

1. Prefer using read-only backends in the Agent Reach ecosystem
2. When Agent Reach has no available Xiaohongshu backend, then try the Guaikei API as a fallback
3. If not configured GUAIKEI_API_TOKEN, prompt the user to configure it, rather than directly failing with an unknown error

Current backends:

• Xiaohongshu:opencli xiaohongshu、xiaohongshu-mcp or xhs-cli
• Xiaohongshu fallback:GUAIKEI_API_TOKEN
• Bilibili:bili-cli、opencli bilibili or Bilibili public search/detail API
• Douyin: Agent Reach currently has no built-in channel, reserved DOUYIN_COMMAND custom read-only CLI adaptation

3.5 Douyin extension entry

The current version of Agent Reach has no Douyin channel. If you have a local read-only CLI, you can integrate it like this:

The CLI needs to support:

4. Backend Check

Before use, it is recommended to run:

agent-reach doctor --json

If Xiaohongshu shows active_backend: null, the tool will continue checking GUAIKEI_API_TOKEN：

export GUAIKEI_API_TOKEN="your_api_token_here"

After configuration, Xiaohongshu search, details, and blogger works will use the Guaikei API fallback.

5. Important Limitations

• This tool only reads public data and does not support write operations such as posting, commenting, or liking.
• Xiaohongshu is subject to xsec_token mechanism restrictions; for detail pages, it is recommended to use the complete URL returned by search results.
• The Guaikei API is only used as a Xiaohongshu fallback and will not replace the Bilibili or Douyin backends.
• The Bilibili public API does not guarantee stability for all detail fields; after installing bili-cli capabilities are more complete.
• Douyin is currently an extension slot and does not come with a built-in available backend in the repository.
• All task results are automatically saved to logs/, and this directory is not committed by default.
