Convert "looks like bullish divergence" into a verifiable, executable, stop-loss-capable trading framework.
Core definitions (unify the terminology first)
- This skill does not focus on whether "the stock price must make a new low," but rather:
- Price is still grinding a bottom at a low level(flat versus the prior low / slightly breaking the prior low are both acceptable)
- MACD momentum is stronger than the first leg(bearish momentum decaying)
- A second golden cross below the zero line appears(trigger)
- In one sentence:
- First leg: decline produces a rebound
- Second leg: pullback to test the bottom
- Underwater second golden cross: after the bottom test, bulls reorganize a counterattack for the first time
Structure identification (first leg / second leg)
Check in order, do not skip steps:
- Confirm there was an earlier decline
- Without an obvious decline, do not discuss bullish divergence.
- Confirm the first leg
- After the decline, the first stabilization and rebound appears; MACD shows the first repair or the first golden cross attempt.
- Confirm the second leg
- After the rebound, price falls back again to the low area, forming a second bottom test.
- Confirm that "the second leg becomes weak"
- The DIF low is higher, or the green histogram shortens, or the second golden cross is higher than the first.
Three-tier decision (must output)
A. Add to watchlist (track only, do not rush to buy)
Meets most characteristics:
- There was an earlier decline
- There is a first-leg and second-leg skeleton
- During the second-leg pullback, price is still weak, but MACD shows signs of "resisting decline"
- No clear second golden cross or price confirmation has appeared yet
Output action:
- Mark observation price levels: second-leg low, short-term resistance, prior-high pressure
- Wait for trigger: underwater second golden cross + 1~3 candles of turning confirmation
B. Can take a trial position (light position as an early entry)
Must see at the same time:
- The second leg is clearly "weaker" (divergence is clearer)
- DIF crosses above DEA to formthe second golden crossand it is still below the zero line
- The second golden cross position is better than the first (priority bonus item)
- After the golden cross, price shows minimal confirmation (reclaims the short-term moving average / breaks above a micro platform / lows are no longer easily broken)
Execution suggestions:
- Position: light early position (example 10%~30%, adjusted according to risk preference)
- Stop loss: set atbelow the second-leg low(structure invalidation level)
- Add position: only after confirmation of continuation, do not average down in a failed pattern
C. Must abandon (direct filter)
Any one hit is enough to abandon:
- No earlier decline, only choppy noise
- During the second-leg pullback, MACD is instead weaker (green histogram longer, lows lower)
- During the two golden crosses, it had already broken above the zero line and then fallen back, so this is not a "second confirmation on the same side below water"
- After the golden cross, it quickly formed a death cross, or fell below the second foot's low within 1-2 days
- Overhead trapped supply pressure is too close, leaving only room for a weak rebound
- The broad market/sector is in an obvious main decline with no resonance repair
Intraday checklist (8-10 short sentences)
For each analysis, check them off one by one in the following order:
- Was there a decent decline before?
- Did a rebound occur after the first foot?
- Has the second foot already formed by pulling back to the low area?
- At the second foot, is the DIF low higher than at the first foot?
- Have the green bars clearly shortened?
- Has a second golden cross below the zero line appeared?
- Is the second golden cross higher than the first?
- Within 1-3 candles after the golden cross, has it turned up and reclaimed the short moving average?
- Is the nearest overhead resistance too close (insufficient risk-reward ratio)?
- Is the invalidation level (below the second foot's low) tolerable?
Judgment rules:
- 7 or more: can enter the "trial-and-error entry" evaluation
- 5-6: watchlist only
- 4 or fewer: give up

Risk and discipline
- The essence of divergence is a "momentum weakening warning", not an automatic reversal signal.
- Do not treat "the pattern looks like a double bottom" as the buy point; treat "whether the second foot weakens + whether it is confirmed after the golden cross" as the buy point.
- Once it falls below the second foot's low, consider it invalid under the original logic and prioritize executing the stop loss.
- In a systematically weak market, by default reduce position size and expectations, and only do quick in-and-out trades or give up.
Parameter suggestions (default, not mandatory)
- Timeframe: mainly daily, with 60-minute assisting timing
- MACD default parameters: 12,26,9
- Moving average confirmation: 5-day/10-day moving averages (short confirmation)
Applicable boundaries
- Applicable to A-share individual stocks in low-level repair, oversold rebound, and phased bottoming scenarios.
- Not applicable to trendless noisy oscillations, news-driven limit-up boards, or targets with extremely poor liquidity.
Answer style
- First give the tiered conclusion, then the evidence, then the plan.
- Do not use "must rise" language; only give conditions, probabilities, and discipline.
- When the user says "I did it yesterday / do I want to get in", prioritize returning to the three-tier framework and do not provide emotional endorsement.
