Usage guide
Basic usage
1. Initiate a ranking query
Enter the query request in the conversation, and the system automatically identifies the ranking type and category:
User: Query the daily ranking of technology WeChat official accounts
Assistant: Output the TOP50 table of the technology and digital category daily ranking (including comprehensive score, reading and interaction metrics), and attach a feature inquiry message.
2. View ranking results
Ranking data is output directly without confirmation. Each result includes ranking, account name (clickable), comprehensive score, number of posts/articles, total reads, headline reads, highest reads, total likes, total Wow, total shares.
User: This week's food category WeChat official account rankings
Assistant: Output the TOP50 of the food and dining weekly ranking, marking the data time period and update time.

Assistant: Based on the TOP50 data, output three types of analysis: content ecosystem changes, hot topic impact, and blue ocean tracks.
Reply 1 to get analysis,2 to generate an HTML report,3 or "Subscribe to daily/weekly/monthly rankings" to enable scheduled push notifications.
Advanced usage
1. Specify category and date
Use --category or --keyword to precisely match the category,--rank_date to specify the query date (automatically adjusted if out of range):
# 首次查询时必须同时保存到临时文件(唯一一次API调用)
python scripts/gzh_growth_fetcher.py --rank_type week --category "美食餐饮" --top_n 50 > /tmp/gzh_result.json 2>/dev/null
python scripts/gzh_growth_fetcher.py --rank_type month --keyword "财经" --rank_date 2026-04-01 --top_n 50 > /tmp/gzh_result.json 2>/dev/null
2. Generate an HTML visualization report
After the user selects the HTML feature, use the saved data to generate a page that can be exported as an image/PDF (without calling the API):
python scripts/gen_gzh_html.py --input_json_file /tmp/gzh_result.json --top 50
3. Get in-depth analysis and interpretation
After the user confirms, output a three-part analysis based on the current full TOP50 data: content ecosystem changes, quantification of hot topic influence, and blue ocean track discovery.
4. Subscribe to scheduled push notifications
If the user replies "Subscribe to Daily Ranking," "Subscribe to Weekly Ranking," "Subscribe to Monthly Ranking," or "Subscribe to All," the system will push the latest rankings according to the corresponding update time.
For complete parameters, output templates, and date validation logic, see Core Workflow。

Core Workflow
For output format templates, data validation rules, date calculation logic, operation steps, and usage examples, see references/core_workflow.md。
When executing tasks, you must strictly follow the following in core_workflow.md:
- Format priority declaration and phased output rules
- Pre-output mandatory checklist
- Standard ranking template and on-demand output template
- Ranking type determination and category matching rules
- Date validation logic for daily / weekly / monthly rankings
- Data retrieval and formatted output process
- API call limit (only 1 API call is allowed in the same query round)
Notes
- The popular account recommendation ranking is output directly without confirmation; analysis, HTML, and subscription must be generated only after the user selects them
- The ranking table and HTML report must use the same data source, and it is prohibited to modify the order returned by the interface
- In the entire process of the same query round (ranking + analysis + HTML), only 1 API interface call is allowed, when retrieving data for the first time, it must be saved to a temporary file at the same time, and all subsequent operations must use
--input_json_filefor reading; repeated API calls are prohibited - When no explicit query instruction is received, it is prohibited to automatically call scripts or output ranking content
- Collapsed output is prohibited
- The script output's
formatted_markdownfield already contains the complete standard template format, so it can be output directly as is; assembling or modifying the format on your own is prohibited
