About this skill

TikTok Account Search

📝 Introduction

Enter a keyword to find TikTok creator accounts, sorted for you by follower count from high to low, with nickname, follower count, and bio clear at a glance. Click a link to jump to the profile page for details. When no content is found, it automatically recommends 10 similar keywords to help you keep searching from a different angle.

✨ Core Value

Fresh content, no lag: Every search directly pulls the platform's current latest account data, so it won't fob you off with old cache.

Sorted by follower count: Search results are automatically sorted by follower count from high to low, so top big accounts can be seen at a glance.

Automatic keyword expansion when no results are found: When a keyword search returns no results, the tool gives you 10 similar recommended terms in one go, helping you continue digging from a different angle.

Supports paged browsing: When there are many results, you can browse page by page, 10 per page, without missing any account.

🎯 Target Users

  • 🔍 Content creators — Find overseas creators in the same niche and study the content direction and operational approach of benchmark accounts.
  • 📊 Operations / Data analysis — Quickly figure out which top accounts exist on TikTok in a certain category and grasp the competitive landscape.
  • 🏢 Brands / MCNs — Screen potential partner creators, evaluate account value by follower count, and support signing decisions.
  • 🌏 Cross-border e-commerce — Search for influencer resources in overseas niche markets and find matching candidates for selling / promotion.

🔑 Authentication

Get API Key

Please go to Redfox Hub to get the API KEY

Configure API Key

Option 1: Taking OpenClaw as an example, add REDFOX_API_KEY to ~/.openclaw/openclaw.json :

{ "env": { "REDFOX_API_KEY": "ak_xxxx..." } }

Option 2: Terminal configuration

export REDFOX_API_KEY="ak_xxxx..."

🔄 Workflow

Step 1: Understand user intent and extract keywords

⚠️ Core rule: Semantic understanding takes priority; prioritize extracting niche direction words rather than generalized broad category words

1. Extract keywords

  • Extract 2~6 character niche keywords from the user's description
  • If the user's intent is vague (e.g. "help me search TikTok"), proactively ask: "Which direction or field of TikTok accounts would you like to search for?"
  • Do not guess on your own and call the script when the user has not provided keywords

2. Identify page parameters(use default values when the user does not specify)

  • Page number(--page): default 1
    • User mentions "next page", "page 2" → corresponding page number
    • User mentions "previous page" → current page - 1
    • Page number not mentioned → 1(default)
  • Paging cursor(--rid): do not pass it on the first page; when paging, you must pass the rid value returned in the previous page's response

Step 2: Call the search script

python3 ~/.agents/skills/tiktok-account-search/scripts/search_tiktok_realtime.py "<关键词>" [--page 页码] [--rid 翻页游标]

Parameter description:

Parameter Optional values Meaning
keyword Arbitrary string Search keyword
--page Positive integer Page number, starting from 1 (default 1)
--rid String Pagination cursor, not passed on the first page, must be passed on subsequent pages (obtained from the previous page's response rid field)

The script outputs in JSON format:

Field Description
accounts List of matched accounts (sorted by follower count in descending order)
page Current page number
has_next Whether there is a next page (true/false)
total Number of items returned on the current page
rid Pagination cursor, passed in when requesting the next page --rid

Fields for each account:

Field Description
nickname Account nickname
account_id TikTok account ID
follower_count Follower count
signature Bio
verified Whether verified
region Region
profile_url Profile link

Step 3: Determine the result and display it

Case A: accounts count > 0 (there are matching results)

A1. Inform the user of the query scope

📊 Keyword "XXX" found N TikTok accounts (page {page}), the detailed data is as follows:

A2. Render a Markdown table (display all)

Number formatting rules:

  • < 10000: raw number (e.g. 320)
  • ≥ 10000:x.xw format (e.g. 1.2w)

Nickname rules: plain text, truncate if longer than 20 characters and add ...

Bio rules: take the signature field, truncate if longer than 40 characters and add ...; when empty, display -

Profile link rules: always display the text [访问主页](profile_url), clicking it can jump to the TikTok account profile

A3. Pagination prompt (⚠️ immediately after the table, cannot be omitted, must be output every time)

  • If has_next is true:

📄 Currently page {page} . Reply "next page" to continue viewing.

  • If has_next is false (already the last page):

📄 Currently page {page} , there is no more data.

"Next page" invocation rules when paginating: If the user replies "next page", when calling the script you must increment the page number based on the previous page's response rid :

python3 ~/.agents/skills/tiktok-account-search/scripts/search_tiktok_realtime.py "<关键词>" --page {page+1} --rid "{上一页rid}"

⚠️ A1~A3 are all indispensable and must be completed consecutively in the same round of output. If A3 is missing, it is considered an execution error and the output must be supplemented again.

Case B: accounts count = 0 (no matching results)

B1. Apology prompt + term expansion recommendations

😔 Sorry, no TikTok accounts directly related to "XXX" were found. You can try again with shorter or broader keywords (expansion term 1, expansion term 2, ... expansion term 10)

The AI must generateexactly 10expansion terms, 2~6 characters, separated by English commas, no fewer than 10.

⚠️ B1 must be completed in the same round of output and must not be interrupted.

Step 4: End output

After all content has been displayed, do not wait and immediately end the output.
