First-Time Use
First-time use requires configuring an API Key first
Go to redfox.hk to register and get an API Key. Choose any one of three configuration methods:

- Inbox-style subscription: Subscribe to official accounts like subscribing to a newsletter, up to 20, and you need to provide the account ID (supports three formats: account / wxId / bizInfo)
- Pushed on time every day at 6 AM: Install the scheduled task with one click, get a finely formatted daily report every morning, and automatically open the browser (Broad Domain Database T+1, fetching posts from yesterday and the past 7 days)

Use Cases
Daily Morning Report
Enable --subscribe, automatically fetch posts from all subscribed official accounts every day at 06:00,
generate an HTML daily report, and automatically open the browser. Like receiving email, get a
push of exclusive official account articles every morning.
Competitor Monitoring
Add competitor official accounts to the "Competitor Accounts" category, and at any time fetch see all their
latest posts on one screen—title, summary, read count, like count, article link, with the table clear at a glance.
Special Focus
Add major industry accounts and sources of inspiration to the "Followed Accounts" category, give them priority display in the daily report, and grasp developments as soon as there are new posts.
Content Processing
The scraped article data can be further used with an LLM:
- Summary rewriting: Feed it to an LLM to generate custom summaries or analyze viewpoints
- Style imitation: imitate the writing style of the target official account to output study notes
- Data preservation: the daily report HTML can be exported as PDF / Markdown for archiving
How to use
Manage subscriptions
Account ID description: the new interface is based on the Honghu Wide Area Database, and an account ID must be provided to query. The following three formats are supported (choose any one), taking the "Honghu Data" official account as an example:

Q: Is there a limit on fetch frequency? A: Each fetch consumes API quota based on the number of subscriptions. It is recommended to enable automatic daily push rather than frequently fetching manually.
Q: Where are the daily reports stored?
A: By default, ~/Downloads/QoderGzhReports/, file name format 公众号日报_2026-05-27.html。
Q: How do I customize the daily report style?
A: Modify the CSS variables in $SKILL_PATH/assets/report_template.html to change colors and fonts.
Q: What are category tags for? A: The daily report is displayed grouped by category (competitor accounts, similar accounts, followed accounts), making it easy to quickly distinguish subscriptions for different purposes. If no category is specified, it is uniformly grouped under "Followed Accounts".
Q: What is the difference from an RSS reader? A: It is designed specifically for WeChat official accounts. WeChat does not have RSS. This Skill directly retrieves official account post data and can also show WeChat-exclusive interaction metrics such as read counts and like counts.
Q: Can article content be rewritten or imitated? A: The daily report displays the title + summary + data. If you need to summarize and rewrite an article or imitate its style, you can further process the retrieved data with an LLM.
Q: What should I do when my quota is used up? A: Go to redfox.hk to register and obtain an API Token.
Q: Why are some official accounts not found? A: This Skill uses Red Foxbroad-domain database, which has broad coverage. If you are sure the account ID is correct but still cannot find it, please contact Red Fox Data for customized support:redfoxdata@proton.me。
