Prerequisites

  • Python 3.x runtime environment
  • RedFox API Key (go to RedFox Hub official website to register and obtain one; new users receive free credits)

Get API Key

  1. Visit RedFox Hub official website to learn about service details
  2. Go to registration page to register an account
  3. Newly registered users will receive free credits, and can immediately start using the API service
  4. After registering and logging in, obtain the API Key in the personal center, in the format ak_xxxxxxxx

Configure API Key

  • REDFOX_API_KEY Retrieved from environment variables, format ak_xxxxxxxx
  • If not set, prompt the user to configure it themselves:export REDFOX_API_KEY=<你的apikey>; if the user does not know how to configure it, the Agent should proactively help the user set it up:
    • macOS/Linux: append export REDFOX_API_KEY=<值> to ~/.zshrc(zsh) or ~/.bashrc(bash), then source the corresponding file to make it take effect globally

Q1: What should I do if I get the message "未找到 REDFOX_API_KEY 配置"?

A: Please configure it by following these steps:

Q5: What is the difference between benchmark accounts and top accounts?

A: Benchmark accounts are the 5 accounts with RedFox Index closest upward, and their index is close so their approaches can be directly replicated; top accounts are the top 5 by descending RedFox Index in the same category, with more mature operating models, suitable for catching up and learning.

Q6: What is the RedFox Index?

A: The RedFox Index is an evaluation metric comprehensively calculated by the RedFox platform based on multiple dimensions of account data (follower count, interaction volume, content quality, etc.). The higher the value, the better the account's overall performance. Benchmark account recommendations use this as the core sorting basis.

Q7: What is the subscription push in the query results?

A: At the end of each query result, it will prompt whether to subscribe to the latest information push for similar accounts of that account. After choosing to subscribe, the latest data will be pushed every day at 19:00, and you can also choose the push frequency and time yourself. If not needed for now, you can choose "Not needed for now".
