About this skill

Atuntun Xiaohongshu Cover Skill

Read the content already provided by the user -> gradually collect the person, auxiliary materials, title, cover style, and title color preference -> the model automatically decides the remaining visual details -> generate cover prompts that can be used directly by image generation models.

Important: ask only one question at a time, and wait for the user to answer before asking the next one.

If the user has already provided some information in the current message, record it directly and skip the corresponding question. The user only needs to decide the person, auxiliary materials, title, cover style, and title color preference; do not make the user continue making detailed visual parameter choices.

Except when the user pastes an article, script, topic selection, or uploads images, only collect the following 5 steps of information from the user. Except that question 5 only collects the fixed title color preference, do not continue asking about color schemes, character actions, background, fonts, material usage, composition, or decoration preferences; all these answers are by defaultdecided by the model。

For cover decision items that the user has not explicitly chosen, the model must judge and specify them on its own according to the content type. The final prompt must not contain "decided by the model", "to be determined", "optional", or template placeholders.

Five-question process (ask one by one, do not ask all at once)

Question 1: Person

Ask the user to upload a person reference image (Image 1), and do not provide a "default appearance" or "generic blogger appearance" option.

Only ask:

Please upload the Image 1 person reference image. You can upload 1 clear face photo, or upload 2-3 photos of the same person to maintain character consistency.

If the user explicitly says they do not want to show their face, you must still require uploading a partial appearance reference image, such as hands, the edge of half a face, or a side-face silhouette. Do not generate a default person out of thin air.

After the user uploads an image, only record it as the Image 1 person reference, and do not ask additional questions about the person's appearance.

Question 2: Auxiliary materials

Ask the user to upload auxiliary materials such as Image 2 and Image 3. These can be software screenshots, product images, logos, tool interfaces, course screenshots, article screenshots, data screenshots, or other images that can explain the topic.

Only ask:

Please upload auxiliary material images. You can upload 1 or more; if there are no auxiliary materials, reply "none".

After the user uploads images, only record them in order as Image 2, Image 3, Image 4, etc., and do not ask additional questions about the purpose of the materials. When the user replies "none", record it as no auxiliary materials, and the model generates stickers, icons, checklists, arrows, and cards according to the topic.

Question 3: Title

Based on the content already provided by the user, the Image 1 person reference, and the auxiliary materials, refine 3 candidate cover titles and let the user choose only the number:

  1. Candidate title A
  2. Candidate title B
  3. Candidate title C
  4. Regenerate 3 titles

Do not ask an open-ended question like "whether to modify the title" by default. If the user proactively provides a title, use the user's title directly.

If the above text and image information are not enough to accurately extract a title, do not add open-ended follow-up questions; still provide 3 somewhat general but usable title candidates based on the existing information.

Title rules:

  • The main title should preferably be 4-10 characters
  • A subtitle is allowed, but the main title must be the most eye-catching
  • Prioritize colloquial strong hooks, such as "Stop choosing blindly", "Build from 0", "Full process revealed", "Beginners can get started", "Does it actually work"
  • Review-type content must highlight numbers, such as "5 products", "7 dimensions"
  • Tutorial-type content must highlight low barriers, such as "Zero foundation", "No command line needed", "Complete beginner"

Question 4: Cover style

Let the user choose the cover style direction, provide only the following options, and have the user reply with only the number:

  1. Let the model recommend — Default recommendation; the model automatically selects the most suitable Atuntun template based on the title, people, and supporting materials
  2. Viral big-text top-pressure style — A super-large title presses down on the top of the image, suitable for strong hooks, experience reveals, and tutorial entry points
  3. Giant split-text impact style — The title is split into multiple giant word blocks, suitable for core concepts, strong opinions, and short-video impact
  4. Beginner-friendly Q&A explainer style — Question marks, checkmark labels, and plain-language titles, suitable for explaining things clearly to beginners
  5. Tutorial checklist style — A green checkmark checklist clearly shows what can be learned, suitable for deployment, installation, getting started, and full processes
  6. Product review ranking style — Big numbers, product cards, and dimension labels, suitable for multi-product comparisons and conclusion contrasts
  7. Recommendation种草 style — People giving thumbs-up, friendly recommendations, and emoji stickers, suitable for sharing personal favorites and recommending good products
  8. Sticker collage beginner style — People, small cards, screenshots, and logos collaged around, suitable for tool combinations and workflow building
  9. Black-background efficiency workflow style — Dark tool wall, green checklist, and high-contrast large text, suitable for revealing efficiency methods and tool flows

Do not continue asking about color schemes in this question; title colors are collected only in Question 5. Except for fixed title color preferences, the overall color scheme is automatically determined by the model based on the user's chosen style, material complexity, and title emotion; the title does not have to use yellow every time; when there is no fixed yellow reference, whenever yellow is used, uniformly use soft light yellow #FDFFA7.

Question 5: Title color preference

Ask the user whether they have a preferred, fixed cover title color. The user may upload screenshots of past cover title colors to help keep the homepage color scheme consistent.

Ask only:

Do you have a preferred, fixed cover title color? If so, you can upload screenshots of past cover title colors, and I will set it according to your fixed color scheme; if not, reply "None", and I will automatically choose the title color scheme based on the overall effect of this cover.

After the user uploads a screenshot, record it only as a title color reference, and do not ask further about color codes, brand colors, background colors, or other color scheme details. The final prompt must extract the specific main title color, keyword emphasis color, and outline color based on the screenshot; if approximate color codes can be determined, approximate HEX color codes may be written.

When the user replies "None", record it as no fixed title color, and the model automatically selects a high-contrast title color scheme based on the cover style, material complexity, title emotion, and overall homepage feel.

Automatic default items

Except for the title color preference in question 5, the following questions will no longer be asked to the user, and by default all will be decided by the model:

  • Style template: If the user chooses "let the model recommend" or does not explicitly choose a style, automatically select the best-matching one among the 8 styles; if the user chooses a specific style, execute according to that style
  • Title and overall color scheme: If the user provides a fixed title color or screenshot in question 5, prioritize using its title primary color, keyword emphasis color, and outline logic; even if the reference color is not #FDFFA7, it should still stay close to the original colors of the user's homepage; if the user replies "none", automatically choose a high-contrast, eye-catching color scheme based on the cover style, material complexity, and theme mood; #FDFFA7 is the classic default, not the only title color; when there is no fixed yellow reference, whenever yellow is used, uniformly use #FDFFA7
  • Character expression and action: Automatically choose based on the title emotion and content type
  • Background tone: Automatically choose based on the material, theme, and cover style
  • Font style: Default to a variety-show-style ultra-bold sans; when necessary, automatically switch to comic viral lettering, rounded bold sans, or tech-style bold sans
  • Material usage: Automatically determine whether image 2, image 3, etc. should serve as the product subject, tutorial proof, background atmosphere, or sticker collage element
  • Lists, labels, subtitles, stickers, emoji, arrows, and decorations: Automatically generate according to the selected template
  • Character position, composition ratio, occlusion relationships, and safe area: Automatically arrange according to the selected template

When deciding automatically, a specific result must be given, for example "the character gives a thumbs-up with both hands and looks at the camera", "the background is a dark tool wall", "image 2 is used as a tilted product card on the right"; do not write default items as abstract descriptions.

Image generation and review process

If the user requests direct image generation, by default generate first1 3:4 vertical Xiaohongshu cover. Unless the user explicitly requests another ratio from the start, do not generate 4:3 or 16:9 at the same time.

After generating the 3:4 cover and showing it to the user, only after the user expresses confirmation such as satisfied, passed, okay, final, this version is OK, proactively ask one follow-up question:

Do you need me to also generate a 4:3 and 16:9 horizontal version for you?

If the user agrees to generate 4:3 and 16:9, the horizontal composition must be redone: 4:3 and 16:9 should each adapt the title, character, materials, and safe area; do not directly stretch, crop, or forcibly change the ratio of the 3:4 vertical version.

Before outputting the final prompt or calling the image generation tool, an internal review must be done once; if the image has already been generated, it must also be reviewed once before display. The review does not need to be shown to the user item by item, but it must be used to decide whether to rewrite the prompt or regenerate:

  • Ratio: The target ratio must be clear and correct; 3:4 vertical, 4:3 horizontal, and 16:9 horizontal must not be confused, must not be approximate ratios, and must not stretch the reference image horizontally or vertically
  • Character: Real-person proportions should be natural; the face and body must not be elongated or flattened; the expression should match the title emotion, and must not be terrifying, stiff, pale, or bizarre
  • Hands and limbs: No extra hands, extra fingers, severed hands, fused hands, or hands facing the wrong direction; if the gesture is a selling point, the hand position and pointing direction must be clearly specified
  • Text: The title must be clear and readable, and must not cover the character's eyes or mouth; important text must all be within the safe area
  • Materials: The purpose of reference images such as image 1/image 2/image 3 must be clear; do not mistake auxiliary materials for the character, and do not let materials cover the face
  • Color scheme: If the user provides a fixed title color, the main title color and keyword color must closely match the user's reference; if the user has no fixed color, the title and background must have strong contrast, and a striking title color should be automatically selected based on the image, avoiding mechanically using #FDFFA7 for every image
  • placeholder: The final prompt must not retain "determined by the model", "to be determined", "optional", or square bracket placeholders

If review finds incorrect proportions, obvious character distortion, obvious hand errors, unreadable titles, or obscured faces, you must first modify the prompt and regenerate; do not deliver failed images as the final result.

General Visual Specifications

All styles follow:

  • By default, the Xiaohongshu cover composition must be a 3:4 vertical ratio; other ratios or "close to 3:4" are not accepted; only when the user explicitly requests or confirms an extended horizontal version should it be changed to 4:3 or 16:9, and the horizontal composition must be re-adapted
  • Real people appear on camera, with the person occupying 35%-55% of the frame, unless the style specifies otherwise
  • The edges of the person have a light yellow (preferably #FDFFA7), white, or high-contrast bright outline, creating an obvious cutout effect
  • The main title is the first visual priority and must be extra large, clear, and short
  • The main title must use a striking, high-contrast color scheme; if the user provides a fixed title color, prioritize executing according to the user's reference main title color, keyword emphasis color, and outline color; if the user replies "none", the default options may be soft light yellow #FDFFA7 or pure white, and a more suitable title color such as cyan-blue, bright green, pink, orange-red, or purple may also be chosen based on the image; there must be a thick black outline or dark outline
  • If yellow is used for the title fill, title keywords, or the backing board/color block/banner behind the title: when the user provides a screenshot of a fixed title color, prioritize matching the yellow in the screenshot; when there is no fixed yellow reference, uniformly specify soft light yellow #FDFFA7; do not use fluorescent yellow, high-saturation bright yellow, golden yellow, or orange-leaning yellow on your own; if yellow is not suitable for the current image, directly switch to another high-contrast bright color
  • Use variety-show-style extra-bold black fonts, comic title lettering, and large short-video cover text
  • Common elements: green check boxes, soft light yellow #FDFFA7 arrows, question marks, exclamation marks, emoji, stickers, small cards, software logos
  • The background can be an indoor scene, software interface, blurred product image, dark logo wall, black-gray tech poster, or a background extended from reference materials, but it must not compete with the title
  • The image should be high-contrast, high-density, and emotionally strong, with a clickable feel that can be understood at a glance
  • All important text, faces, and lists must not exceed the safe area

Avoid:

  • Do not use minimalist whitespace
  • Do not use thin fonts
  • Do not use a cold magazine style
  • Do not use low-contrast light gray text
  • Do not use holographic projections, data streams, or particle effects
  • Do not let the title obscure the person's eyes and mouth
  • Do not use fluorescent yellow, high-saturation lemon yellow, golden yellow, or orange-leaning yellow on your own for titles, keywords, or title backing boards; if the user's fixed title color is exactly this type of color, you must reduce saturation or enhance readability through black outlines and white highlights
  • Do not mechanically use the same yellow title on every cover; if the user has no fixed title color, the title color must serve the current image

Core Requirements for Generating Prompts

After obtaining the 5-step information, use the user-specified style according to question 4, or when the user chooses "let the model recommend," automatically select the most matching style template, then handle the title color according to question 5, and finally generate the prompt according to that template. The prompt must achieve:

  • Specific character pose: Clearly state where the character is in the frame, where the fingers point, and what the expression is
  • Clear title hierarchy: Write the main title, subtitle, and list text clearly and separately
  • Specific title color scheme: Clearly write the title main color, keyword color, and stroke color; if the user provides a title color reference, it must stay close to the reference screenshot and specific colors must be written out, and it must not be forcibly changed to the default yellow; if the user replies "none," the model chooses a high-contrast color scheme suitable for the entire cover; when there is no fixed yellow reference, whenever yellow is used, always explicitly write #FDFFA7; do not treat yellow as the only usable title color
  • Clear spatial relationships: What are the foreground/midground/background respectively, and which occludes which
  • Clear material references: Directly write "reference image 1/image 2/image 3"; do not restate all the details of the reference images
  • Obvious style differences: Each style has its own composition, background, text placement, and decoration logic
  • Fixed aspect ratio: By default, the final prompt must explicitly write "3:4 vertical Xiaohongshu cover"; if the user requests 4:3 or 16:9, it must explicitly write "4:3 horizontal cover" or "16:9 horizontal cover," and the composition must be rearranged
  • Concretize defaults: All items decided by the model must be turned into a specific image in the final prompt, with no placeholders retained
  • Clear negative quality constraints: Clearly write no extra hands, no deformation, no stretching, and no title covering the face, especially when the character reference image is horizontal

General prompt writing guidelines

  1. Write the image first, then the style: The order of person, title, materials, background, decorations, and composition should be clear.
  2. The title must appear exactly as is: Do not let the model rewrite the title confirmed by the user.
  3. Checklist text must be short: 2-6 characters per item, suitable for cover reading.
  4. Directly number reference images: Write "reference image 1/image 2/image 3", do not repeat at length.
