How to Use
source ~/.zshrc 2>/dev/null
python3 scripts/morning_briefing.py
Send the script output to Elder Crab as-is; do not modify, do not supplement, do not summarize.
Dependencies
- Environment variable:
TUSHARE_TOKEN(already configured in ~/.zshrc) - Python standard library (no pip install required)
- Network: Tushare API + Tencent Quotes + Cailian Press
Watchlist Modification
Edit the scripts/morning_briefing.py at the top of A_STOCKS and the HK_STOCKS list.
FAQ
- Hong Kong stock data uses the Tencent Quotes interface, with no rate limit
- If run before 15:00, it retrieves data for the previous trading day; if run after 15:00, it retrieves the current day's data
- News is scraped from Cailian Press Morning Picks; if scraping fails, it displays "Not yet retrieved"
