Troubleshooting

If requests fail, run zero doctor check-connector --env-name DIFFBOT_TOKEN or zero doctor check-connector --url https://api.diffbot.com/v3/article --method GET.

How to Use

Diffbot authenticates with an API token passed as the token query parameter on every request. The base URL is https://api.diffbot.com.

1. Extract an article from a URL

Guidelines

Pick the narrowest endpoint — article / product / discussion are faster and more accurate than analyze.
Knowledge Graph uses kg.diffbot.com — a separate host from the extraction APIs (api.diffbot.com).
fields= parameter — limit returned fields to reduce response size and credit cost.
JavaScript rendering — Diffbot already executes JS for SPAs; no need to pre-render.
Rate limits — 5 concurrent calls per token on standard plans; back off on 429.
